  • If He was playable in kingdom hearts he would be the chunk of that game

  • Similarities to Megaman abound... yet this game had an entirely different play mechanic and a unique atmosphere. Definitely one of the NES greats!

  • thats one hell of a pimp cane

  • star wars "thats no moon"

  • U MEGAMAND MY DUCK TALES?¡

  • 0:37 This part of the music sounds like "What I'm made of" from Sonic Heroes

  • Is this the last level? o_O

  • Dammit Chimpo why do you turn up in my searches. :|

  • Who besides myself wishes this game to become a Virtual Console title on Wii or the new Project Cafe AKA Nintendo's new upcoming console?

  • oh god. the memories. so many MEMORIES.

I can't even remember playing this game anymore. but the music sticks forever. as does the main menu pic. no complex graphics, not eye-hurting flares or explosions or anthing. blue screen, Duck Tales logo. that's it. this, ladies and gentlemen, is what games are all about. simple, casual, easy entertainment.

A salute to the men and women who gave us those early gems and paved the way for all that followed.

  • ParagonX9 made this theme even better!

  • I miss classic games and classic Disney

  • Ducks.

    Yes Ducks in outer space

    From the Disney Afternoon

    To the mooon...

  • 0:49 & 1:37 are the worst parts since the jingle interupts the music

  • I like how you waited for the music to get to the good part before moving

  • Bless me bagpipes!

  • Scrooge mcDuck FTW!

  • thank you for gameplay!!!

  • "This oughta be the ending credits theme,

It's a soaring song, flying high, like a dream,

But it was used as a level tune,

Underscoring the life of a retarded mallard on the f***ing moon!

  • i like how the enemies cry when killed

  • Ahh discarded foodstuffs...you never let us down!

  • you forgot the ice cream.

  • This is what all liscenced games should be like.

  • @FinalRound You took the feet out of my mouth.

  • @bulddog Heh...don't you mean the words?

  • @FinalRound Exactly :D

  • That's gotta be one expensive cane.

  • Cyber duck men.

Bless me bagpipes. Farout this song rocks balls.

  • "Wait Uncle Scrooge,

you need a suit up there?

    How are you alive?

    You need heat!

    Also air"

  • My God you're a pro.

  • Epic! The music is da bomb

  • Why does everyone keep saying Mega Man 2 (and someone mention 1)? Do the other 7-- well... Only 5 were 8-Bit-- do the other 5 not exist? I think this looks more like Mega Man 4 & 5 then anything else. And maybe a bit like Plug Man from Mega Man 9...

  • Plug Man's stage did make me think of this level.

  • This reminds me of Megaman for some odd reason.

  • Well, you gotta remember, this is the same people who made Mega Man. They even used the same art style, so you're right in thinking that. But there is a Mega Man stage this reminds me of... I'm thinkin' Gravity Man and Star Man... And someone else... Whoever's stage it was in Mega Man 4 where you find the balloon.

  • ohhhhh the mem or ries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha, you gotta love the sound the enemies make when you kill them. Epic nostalgia.

  • the moon is best music :P

  • Did Capcom design this game because it looks and sounds Mega Man 2-esque.

This is the one classic NES title I never had. It makes me sad to think of all the nostalgic I missed out on...

  • first glance i wondered the same thing.

Capcom might be the best video game company in the last 30 years

  • actually i think they did.

  • yes they did. checked gamefaqs

  • I always loves this song and stage

  • a duck has done the impossible

hopping on a cane on the moon

  • One small jump for duck, a huge leap for all duck-kind!

  • this reminded me of a normal day playing ducktales on the gameboy...

then i played the mansion level... *twitch*

  • bless me bagpipes!

is it just me or does this bear an uncanny resemblance to mega man 1 and 2?

  • look it's the red "e" tank.... wait where's the e

  • awesome memories from this vid

  • this game looks like a lot of fun ^_^

  • Type in Ducktales Moon on the NEWGROUNDS Audio Portal Search button (lower right side of the Audio

Portal page). This game was so amazing. I wish Disney would make games like THIS!

  • AWESOME, its a damn shame they don`t make games like this anymore.. :(

  • brings tears to my eyes ;_;

  • @ 2:02 i first thought -> "who the fuck is Gismo Duck"!

    No i didn't!*smile*

  • It sounds like a Mega man game...another classic game from Capcom.

  • Why Scuruge scrooge dont have spacesuit :D

  • "there is no spoon"

  • I loved this game! The only one I ever beat. Haha

  • Whoever looked at the show Duck Tales and thought "Scrooge McDuck on a sonnovabitching pogo stick" probably had a few drinks in them XD

  • It's either that or his cane is something other than wood 0_o

  • Musta had some genius juice (what?) or somethin' in those drinks to come up with something like this.

  • I wish I still had my NES. Great game hard to beat though. I used play this all the time growing up. My parents got for me when I 6 for Christmas.

  • Sounds like the inspiration for Diveman's theme on Megaman IV. (Both this and MMIV are great games.)

  • Only Capcom can make a Disney game good.

  • Too bad squaresoft can't... heh

  • SquareEnix you mean? They're haters.

  • HVGN use this music for his ending of his review. Check it out :o

  • It's AVGN, lol.

  • No, there's a Happy VGN. He uses this at the end of his review of Little Nemo.

  • I didn't know about him. :O

  • hey! you didnt include the ending with that giant mouse!

  • the music sounds a bit off key

  • This music is in I Wanna be The Guy :3

    because this theme rawks.

  • great music!

  • Oh God, I remember this game, and this stage....

And only now do I realize that this game just SCREAMS Capcom. For example, that item at 38 seconds in is actually an item in the Mega Man games (I think it's an energy reserve or something). Also, the music is very reminscent of the NES Mega Man games.

  • dude, its nintedo 8-bit. ALL nes games is very reminiscent

  • Hey, much appreciate the pause at the beginning of the vid to allow us to enjoy the music for a sec;-) Definitely one of the greatest NES soundtracks of all time!

  • Why the fuck didn't you show the boss fight?

  • Stupid thing got cut for some retarded reason and I was too lazy to make another video with it. Besides, the boss fight didn't have the awesome Moon music.
