what a precious video. My Dandy boy weighs 210, a saint, and will only eat kibble with cream cheese. I thought i was doing wrong by hand feeding him because some NON ANIMAL LOVERS said i was spoiling him and it was unnatural to do so. This video made me feel wonderful to know im doing great. (these are my first dogs i also have a newfy)I LUV BEAUTIFUL PRECIOUS SIMONE !!!! Keep the video's coming.

Cheese must be a Saint thing, mine loves it too. He also likes sour cream or yogurt as a treat. Simone is beautiful, very similar mask to my Charlie. Thanks for posting!

You two are way too cute! We enjoy feeding our saints too, it is definitely a bonding experience. Way to give such a wonderful breed a great home. They only deserves the best, for all that they give and do for us!

I'm so glad I found this video! My mother scolds me for hand-feeding my Saints. They love it, and they deserve it. And, the CHEESE! My ladies will do anything for cheese (including climb the ramp at the dog wash). Thank you for posting, magnifique!! Ms. Bouvier is divine!

Do you always handfeed your dog? & is it okay for it to eat so much cheese? Doesnt it get constipated?

Yep - she's always handfed. It's one way to always have some quality time together. She eats twice a day, so it doesn't really take long. She likes the attention. Plus, it keeps her in a better position for eating rather than standing up over a bowl; this way she avoids taking in too much air when eating. This is more of a natural position for her.

She's never been constipated from the cheese, but that is probably because she really doesn;t eat that much given her size.

It's so TRUE!!! I've got a Saint Bernard "Lady" as well, and I reckon the food time is a ceremony! We feed her by hand, but we have to "sing" to her at the same time for her to eat!
