Well...sort of. During the audition process they had me "make up a story" explaining to my son where Monster Cookies actually come. The entire story was improv but I did know that one Monster had a crush on another Monster named Gertrude. And once I got closer to booking the spot the producers had actual pictures of what the monsters would look like.
