To me, its a technical difference since it serves the same purpose, but it's clear that you chose to show only wall parts of it to make your point. If you showed what most of the barrier actually looks like, it would be difficult to make a comparison with the Berlin wall. Also, no one on either side of the Berlin wall was committing suicide terrorism on the other side.
