Stone Sour existed before Slipknot.... early Stone Sour was prettty much very similar to that of the music ya hear from Slipknot though, they just started doing more "Post-Grunge" kinda sound, and I for one am all for the Post-grunge movement, certainly beats it's root genre, Grunge -> Grunge Is Dead!!
