I just learned about Seth & May today. What beautiful music. Wow! I noticed there are some songs on my album which are musically close to this - a bit. If you like to check that, click my name...
I visit this Youtube page every once in a while. Great performance of such a beautiful song. I'm a relatively new fan, but I hope to see these guys live some day.
I love this song. Aunt May had written it after my brother was born. It a;ways reminds me of him, since he was premature, it makes me feel good about life. It says don't give up even in the darkest times. So thanks to whoever posted this, and thanks Aunt May
It still amazes me how perfect their voices are together. Such an amazing song. I listen to this song when the world is starting to get me down, and it picks me back up.
Daisy May lights my soul <3 I live all the way in Washington State and I heard about her from my friend in Michigan and I love her. Daisy May, this song is amazing, and I hope to meet you at farmfest in August.
Daisy your music strikes me so deep, and in so many ways that I'll never be able to express the magnitude. I can relate to many of your messages, whether it be from your perspective, or the realization that my perspective was a bit skewed, I feel like your music and messages help me be more aware of who I am, and who I want to be, and how I can be better.
What an amazing song! Check out a cover some friends of mine and I did at Songfest at our university (no one can make it sound like daisy or seth however!) !!!
The crew from Earthwork Music are some of the most beautiful and positive people I have ever encountered. The talent on this small indy label is truly astounding. Please check their website and try to see them live. Seth and May are 2 of my favorite people on the planet. Phenomenal musicians who are living the message in this song. 5 stars from Buddha.
Damn. I still can't hear this song without getting all teary-eyed. The purity of feeling and musical virtuosity is unmatched. See Seth and Daisy May if you can. You will be touched.
I've been lucky to hear you at both Wheatland and Blissfest. You remind me of the early Nancy Griffith days. I hope you take that as a compliment. I'm always exhibiting at the festival, so it's nice to hear a "close-up" on the web.
I had the opportunity to hear Daisy May and Seth Bernard at the Hoxeyville Music Fest last week... and the community that these musicians have created is nothing short of magical. May Erlewine's latest CD, Mother Moon is enchanting, whimsical, ethereal, and most of all, as Lowell George would opine... Straight from the heart....
I had the opportunity to see Daisy May and Seth last night at the Ann Arbor Ark. My sister introduced me to her music last summer and I fell in love with it! The concert was amazing and she and Seth are both so talented. The music was so phenomenal and inspiring. I bought her new CD and it is going straight on my I-pod! =)
My Husband, Best Fiend and SoulMate is in the process of moving on. Times are a confused mixture of Blessing and Darkness. In the midst of this time my Soul Family introduced me to this song. I play it and sit with tears rolling down my cheeks, nothing could have said it better!!!! It is my strength and I thank you from deep inside for these moments.
The other musicians are Andrea Moreno-Beals of Breathe Owl Breathe on cello, Drew Howard on lap steel (from everywhere!) and (I think) Dominic Suchyta of Steppin in it on the bass.
Reminds me of seeing them perform this song to a packed out Centenial Stage at Wheatland 2006. Reminds me to listen to my family members who may think about the world a little differently than do I. Thanks for putting this video up! Please don't ever bring it down!
Is that Drew Howard on the Dobro?
