@w291cruiser, das sind ein om606 und ein om603 aus dem w210 und dem w124. Keiner der beiden motoren wurden geöffnet. Einzigen mods sind seeehr grosser turbo, grosser intercooler und modifizierte ip. mit grösseren elementen :)

öhm ich meine EinSpritzPumpe und ZylinderKopfDichtung.

Wobei die Typen vermutlich die ESP aufgemacht haben (Begrenzer entfernt). Leider steigt dadurch der Druck im Verbrennungsraum übelst an, sodass es einem ab und zu mal die Zylinderkopfdichtung zerfetzt.

Ich gehe mit meinem 190d immer schön vorsichtig um ;)

@budha59 absolute rubbish, you know nothing about diesel engines, you sound like a typical boy racer repeating what you heard elsewhere. The engines will be severely damaged. Black smoke is diesel not used in the combustion cycle, it burns as a heavy oil in the manifold, turbo, egr/dpf/cat if fitted. It causes exhaust valves to stick open reducing power and soots everything up. There is no advantage to injecting more diesel than will fit in each cylinder! Those air filters also allow dirt in...

@KO12230 it is quite easy to get power from mercedes diesel engine. you need om603 turbo engine, bigger turbo like garrett gt40 with 1.5-2.0bar boost, better exhaustmanifold and 3" or 3.5" pipe, modified injectionpump with 7mm plungers, big intercooler, strengthen automatic gearbox. and finetuning.....so this way i can say you get easily about 400hp. in my team is two diesel mercedes projects 190 2.5turbodiesel and 190 3.0turbodiesel both are allmost ready.... no grip at 2nd gear

Funny thing is, I took off the old dirty paper air filter from my 1985 190D2.2 and stuck on a new K&N air filter and the car revved up an EXTRA 1000 rpm's which it has NEVER even done before with a clean paper air filter. LOL, But since the engine is old, now it has the same amount of HP and pickup as it did 10 years ago, LOL!

Meine Fresse rußen die zwei Karren^^ Ist aber umweltfreundlicher als die neuen Diesel mit Rußpartikelfilter, da die schweren Teilchen auf den boden absinken und nicht in die luft belasten ;-) Klingt komisch, ist aber so! Und das drehmoment muss ja auch höllisch sein, gehen gut ab :-)
