The guitar is not the issue, its the player's preference. Roadworn strat and american strat play the same for me, in reality that american strat is manufactured in california close to san fran somewhere right? mexico is like 80 miles away, my point? they are both made by mexicans so buy the cheaper one
@TheElectricHeat it is a good amp but my practice amp is a 100w Peavey Vypyr which i love cuz of all the effects, it has really good quality too...so i'd have to say:
@captgjohnson No, it's not a Peavey. It's a Roland Micro-Cube, and they're fantastic. I've been playing Fenders, Music Mans, and Marshalls all my guitar playin' life. I still keep 6 vintage Fenders and a JCM800, JCM900, and 2 JCM2000 TSL's around.
This is the best little practice amp I've ever heard. This little amp is sweet and, if you wanted to mic it, could be used for any gig, anywhere, for any kind of music. You really need to check it out in person.
What are you saying? The Micro Cube RX is absolutely brilliant! Sure, an all-tube Marshall stack will be a better amp, but it's a whole different ball park.
one of the most expensive??? You can buy two for the price of a REAL les paul (I'm not talking about the paul shaped "faded" or "studio" series) and we haven't even touched on any of the custom guitar makers out there, or even semi-custom (caprison etc...)
I think this is enough amp for him for now... and it's a great start, because now he'll know what to look for when he's ready to get an amp to match the guit.
well that feedback, and olat of amps have it....i think u can buy pedals to cut it out. but only when it is really loud on alot of distortion. but no biggy, but idk about this amp. i got the 30x

this is not a eric clapton signature, and it isn't a fender too, look to the bridge(it have 6 screws), a real fender uses just 2...

@TheTionce Vintage fenders have 6, while American Standads have two posts

A Crate Shockwave amp with an Acoustic 6x10 may be better for gigging, but you couldn't carry it to the park! best practice amp to date hands down

What are the pickups like?
bongolow07 2 years ago
is it tru that it makes a little noise if your hand are not on the string?
Barbot1991 3 years ago
that's normal with any other amp, not only if you have some active pickups like EMG or have noise-fix on some processor or stomp box.
mihkon 3 years ago
it could allso be caused by bad/broken cables
