In addition bring a new diva to the dragon, when the old died. Luka is the oracle of the land and Meiko was the best friend of the old Diva Teto , who was killed by the dragon. So she and the other accompany Len for revenge (Meiko for Teto, Gakupo for his mother). I hope i could help. ^-^ (sorry for my bad english u.u)

For those who don't get why Kaito, Gakupo, and Meiko helps Len:

Kaito were probaly some old friend that Len found. So Kaito decided to help Len. Gakupo got freed by Kaito and Kaito (Probaly) told him about Len's journey and go with him.

Gakupo thought that releasing the Diva would get the old Luka back who were his wife. While Meiko were commanded to kill Len. But when he probaly told in fight why he fighted she probaly thought about her friend, Teto that no one would safe.

He's evil in this story, we can notice many details that make me believe in that. One of them is that at the end, Gaku and Meiko appear on the ground showing their weapons broken, while Kaito's pic appears more fast, and if you pause, you can see that he's not lying on the ground, he's leaving. He attacked Gakupo and Meiko.
