Just recently noticed how the knobs on this one is black as opposed to white. Is this particular pedal hanwired? Just wonder if theres any significance as far as value between the black and white knobs.

@robrippen It's the original version, not the newer MOSFET version of the Full-drive 2

@gdw3 Ya, thats obvious, however even some of the non mosfets have white knobs as well. I thought all the non mosfets were hand wired but thats definately not the case either.

@robrippen I don't see how it's not hand-wired. Do you have any evidence as to that fact?

@gdw3 I own one and I opened it up, mines not hand wired. Some are some arent. Mine still sounds great. You can research it for yourself . Some have what looks like a circut board and others are obviously handwired. My question was posed before I purchased the non mosfet so I wasnt sure at the time until after I received it. Now I know . Mine was dated 8-07 and has Mike Fullers sig on the back and was#11425 Non MOSFET.

@robrippen Oh, I mistook "hand-wired" for "made by hand". I see, yes, some are circuit boards and some are hand-wired. Got it.

This is just a copy of a tube screamer with an extra gain for the boost channel. Sounds flat and missing the bite of the TS.

hi, many people dig this pedal i guess, but this is not for me. i prefer OCD than fulldrive.
