Okay, good laugh! I'm Eastern European & discovered Barrelhouse when I came to Australia (er-hem) a couple/few/several years ago (decades). This is silliness but, Petey was THE MAN! I'm a concert-trained pianist & desperately wanted to find some of his tracks online. The 78's I found were worn out before digital recording was a twinkle in its grandparent's eye. my mother was the script supervisor on this film. at the time, i was about 5. i happened to go to a hippy pre-school that taught us about our "starsigns". my sign is "taurus the bull", so i used to ask my mother all the time, "mom, when am i going to turn into taurus the bull?!"  She in return, borrowed some of the devil horns in this film (thanks, marie carter), and while i was asleep, glued those devil horns on my head, and said, "Wake up honey, you've turned into taurus the bull."
