@helix4811 ehh..I was tempted by all the hype of the HK416 (& other foreign guns) at first.Almost bought one too.But in order to clean/clear a malfunction with the gas block in the HK416 you have to remove the entire forearm,which involves removing 2 screws that are designed to be loosened with the teeth of the .223 extractor.And that means removing your whole bolt &thus taking your whole gun apart.Now POF-USA & MagPul make a gas system that can simply be removed w/o weapon disassembly. USA BABY
ah that is why, then what about the G36 rifle systems, much more simpler cleaning it than any other gun i have seen, in fact you only need to remove one part....

so the HK416 is only being used by Spec forces like Delta force and the Navy seals.. the upper part of the HK416 is being bought to replace the upper part of the M4 because it's cheaper to replace half the gun than the whole gun....the HK416 version 3, also known as the M27 is already replacing the standard infantry assualt rifle, it's said to replace all of the IAF's by 2011...
Why did you go with bushmaster for the ACR? I think you may have lost a lot of credibility there. Why not LMT or Sabre. Hell, if you went with Colt you could have had some of your rifles issued.

When you run the numbers from MOA testing compared to other brands that start in the ~$1,000 ballpark its not as good. I know from long experience that the Colt M4s are POS.

I dont mean too argue on here but alot of people are argueing about weither or not The ACR and related guns is better, or if the SCAR series is better. The ACR series has alot of factory testing but no field testing as far as I know, the SCAR has a bit though. So really theres no point in argueing about them yet since the ACR hasnt really had the time nor the fielding that the SCAR has.
they have 7 models that have had no problems. they love it. they dumped their hk416s. I don't know how much they have been shooting them without cleaning them but it's over 15'000 rounds which is exceptional.
That thing has some power, almost as powerful as the round the SVD fires. (7.62x54) I doubt this would have a problem neutralizing anything it hits, unless king kong sides with the rag heads.
This weapon is in direct competition to the SCAR H, like the ACR is too the SCAR L. The difference is the Masada/ACR and this weapon, the Massoud were company funded projects. Done completely by Magpul to bring these two rifles to market. FNH who makes the SCAR, did so under a gov't competition and also happens to make a great deal of the US Military's small arms already, so they are already in place to move in the SCAR. These competitions are never unbiased, its about the name behind the gun

In this case it also has to do with the weapon itself. The Massada and Massoud are crap. The SCAR series is superior in every way. They are lighter, More reliable, More accurate, More comfortable, And completely ambidextrous. Also the SCAR series has 82% parts commonality.
You obviously have no clue what in the world you're talking about as the ACR weighs considerably less than the SCAR, has consistenly shown to be more accurate, and is able to be modified to accomad left and right hand shooters without tools much more quickly than the SCAR. No one can say it's less reliable, it hasn't been tested. However none of these things will matter, even though they're all PROVEN cause you're a FN whore on the net who has never shot a rifle outside his XBOX.

Yes this is 7.62 x 51mm NATO ammunition.....much different than the weaker 7.62 x 39mm Russian that the AK-47 fires. Different round altogether.

so the HK416 is only being used by Spec forces like Delta force and the Navy seals.. the upper part of the HK416 is being bought to replace the upper part of the M4 because it's cheaper to replace half the gun than the whole gun....the HK416 version 3, also known as the M27 is already replacing the standard infantry assualt rifle, it's said to replace all of the IAF's by 2011...

Why did you go with bushmaster for the ACR? I think you may have lost a lot of credibility there. Why not LMT or Sabre. Hell, if you went with Colt you could have had some of your rifles issued.

I dont mean too argue on here but alot of people are argueing about weither or not The ACR and related guns is better, or if the SCAR series is better. The ACR series has alot of factory testing but no field testing as far as I know, the SCAR has a bit though. So really theres no point in argueing about them yet since the ACR hasnt really had the time nor the fielding that the SCAR has.

they have 7 models that have had no problems. they love it. they dumped their hk416s. I don't know how much they have been shooting them without cleaning them but it's over 15'000 rounds which is exceptional.

That thing has some power, almost as powerful as the round the SVD fires. (7.62x54) I doubt this would have a problem neutralizing anything it hits, unless king kong sides with the rag heads.

This weapon is in direct competition to the SCAR H, like the ACR is too the SCAR L. The difference is the Masada/ACR and this weapon, the Massoud were company funded projects. Done completely by Magpul to bring these two rifles to market. FNH who makes the SCAR, did so under a gov't competition and also happens to make a great deal of the US Military's small arms already, so they are already in place to move in the SCAR. These competitions are never unbiased, its about the name behind the gun

In this case it also has to do with the weapon itself. The Massada and Massoud are crap. The SCAR series is superior in every way. They are lighter, More reliable, More accurate, More comfortable, And completely ambidextrous. Also the SCAR series has 82% parts commonality.

You obviously have no clue what in the world you're talking about as the ACR weighs considerably less than the SCAR, has consistenly shown to be more accurate, and is able to be modified to accomad left and right hand shooters without tools much more quickly than the SCAR. No one can say it's less reliable, it hasn't been tested. However none of these things will matter, even though they're all PROVEN cause you're a FN whore on the net who has never shot a rifle outside his XBOX.
