so,i've got the vintage popy toy daimos from 1980 but this new version is so hard to transform into a robot or van !! old toy is more easy to transform !!! but it's a great toy !!
@pimuce I used to have the vintage DX toy and I do agree it was a lot more easy to transform. I really enjoyed it as a kid. This one by Bandai is more anime accurate and with all the articulation, it does make sense it is more difficult to transform.
The arms are stored inside the legs? Wow, that's really pretty cool. The engineering on these older-design robots like Combattler, Voltes, Daimos and Zambot and such are impressing me with their cool transformations and retro designs. I'm usually a little more fond of modern designs (such as Gunbuster, Alteisen etc) but those older mecha have some pretty sweet designs. I'm probably very late to the party now and getting any of them would be a difficult, expensive affair. Great reviews, Charles!
@ShiyojinRommyu Yes, Bandai has done wonders 'reviving' all these robots and made them very anime accurate. Daimos' engineering is really impressive and innovative. Had Bandai tried to replicate the original toy, the finishing would not be near as nice as the GX-43. Some robots might be expensive to buy now but if they ever reissue, it will be a good chance to own them at a good price. =)
@wingxreviewer04 Thanks for your compliments. I'm glad you like the reviews. Do subscribe to my channel if you wish to get updates on my toy reviews. I upload quite a number of them consistently. =)
Great review! I really love the chogokin figures and have collected quite a few. Please keep up the great work. Maybe more collectors will start picking up Soul of Chogokin toys.
@elliotbaltazar Thanks for the encouragement. I'm happy to hear from another fellow collector of chogokin figures. I do hope that my reviews will let more people understand and appreciate the beauty of this line. Cheers! =)

@xWalker05x Hi, it is probably hard to find one in toy stores now. You might have to go through secondary sources like ebay to get one.

I think this is the very first transformer robot in history.
If only Bandai can get the license for the Transformers: More Than Meets The Eyes.
Yeah dream on.

@blacksun2099 Transformers is licensed to TakaraTomy so there's no way Bandai will ever have it. =)
