I just did it myself and I got 1.621 and not 1.618. Furthermore, the original video only uses the globe once, and the Kaaba location there doesn't mean anything, because any location on that latitude would give the same result (because the distance between north and south pole stays the same).

I just did it myself and I got 1.621 and not 1.618. Furthermore, the original video only uses the globe once, and the Kaaba location there doesn't mean anything, because any location on that latitude would give the same result (because the distance between north and south pole stays the same).

The Quran is not a science book. No one ever said that it was. It does have scientific references however that no man could explain 1400 years ago. Especially not an illiterate man. Furthermore, Muslims made great strides in medicine, technology, architecture, flight, etc. The history books you read (if you read at all) don't mention it but it doesn't mean they aren't documented elsewhere.

Flaws in your argument:
a) The significance of golden ratio: It is a number of aesthetically appealing objects found naturally in God's creation. Kaaba is the most beautiful, central and focal point of Islamic worship, but the fact that it is for the WORLD is not a coincidence, it's a miracle.
b) A few kilometres away from Kaaba and into Mecca - I think you need to recheck how you made that calculation - but even if that were true it is significant since it is in the holy city of Mecca.

You really haven't done anything. The "golden ratio" exists in the natural world. Coincidence becomes miracle when the odds are nearly impossible. If you don't deem the "golden ratio" special, that does not disprove its existence. The golden ratio for the Kabaa's position is not relative to the earth's. the distance from the Kabaa to the south pole divided by the distance to the north gives the golden ratio, plain and simple. You forgot to "disprove" the math behind the letters in the line.why?

1. There are millions of ratios but not important as ur eyebrows and nose, hands and legs etc.
2. "golden ratio" does exist. U can check in the book "angles and demon" also.
3. Kabba has the longitude and lattitude ratio as 1.618. Not as u calculated....

This video is very ignorant. In regard to your last "proof", consider how long ago the city was built, without advanced tools and satellites for measurement. You mentioned was wrong by about 100km. With the massive size of our Eath, this is still a very remarkable achievement for the people of that time.
