Congratulations on this wonderful book John Eder. Would you believe I was reading the book yesterday and it was your birthday!! Belated Happy Birthday! My thirteen year old grandson has Aspergers, hence my interest in your book. It explained so much. You certainly proved Aspergers is NOT a disease. With sincere thanks from a grandma in Australia.
i just loved the book, and am so happy for John now. The book helped me understand my son better, who has ASD, and understand myself better, too. Knowing what John has done with his life gives me alot more optimism about my son's future. Also, this book has helped me be more sympathetic and understanding of those around me & much more hesitant to judge where people are coming from- especially since we are all pretty much somewhere on the spectrum more or less...
My mother is currently reading the book for some understanding as to how I work. I myself have aspergers.. and I loved the book, and this guy is somewhat a hero to me just because of what he's done despite the condition.
dude i totally agree im 19 with AS and im in college this guy is a pinnacle of how i wanna act. The way he conveys himself and organizes his thoughts to communicate its like he's "cured himself" of his Aspergers. I dont mean Aspergers is a disease its part of someones personality but it can have "disabling symptoms" and this guy is cured of any language impediment AS can inflict.
Around 1:05- he sounds like Napoleon Dynamite haha.

John, I was introduced to you because of Augusten. I have always been facinated by Aspergers though. U have explained the condition so well. U R a
shining example of a person with the condition. and how people live with the proabilities. My belief is that u use MORE of u're brain!
