  • Ah yes, the 80's. We had good looking women who didn't have the girl's of today's big guts and cellulite lower asses and upper thighs. None of us were overweight and our English was nearly perfect!

  • Wetton's voice sounds huge on this, right from the outset

  • The 80's were kinda geeky but ni denying the music was pretty good

  • Hey good

  • twat the hell !!!! whaz-up wit the gas mask's? mustA been smokin crack...

  • Spacy hard-rock ASIA. Dramatic verse and 'One word' chorus, GO! For me, 'Astra' is the best album of them. Voice of America, and After the War are also great songs. I don't know why the 'progressive' listeners don't like Astra.

  • Superb song. "Astra" is actually Asia's best album, better than the debut. Too bad it was released during the age of change. Mötley Crüe had released "Home Sweet Home" and hair metal was taking over from radio rock.

  • GO ASIA GO!

  • ASIA FTW!!!!

  • Wow, i found this video! This is the video the producers of the classic Anime "Bubblegum Crisis" showed to the character designer to show him the girl in the armor for inspiration. He then felt that his characters would be best off in full-armor hard-suits. The rest is Anime history!

  • Eeeeee didn't we dress like twats in the eighties.

  • hahaha......youre so right, just like back in those days I thought the suits in Miami Vice were so cool, looking at them now, I disagree !!! hahaha

  • Aza ( the girl dressed up) is Hot!

    5 Stars

  • Thrasy? Maybe it's just me, but this my all time favorite song...

  • Yeh this song is nowhere near the stuff they did with Howe. My fav Asia song isThe smile has left your Eyes. Great Video great song

  • The song is pretty trashy, like virtually everything Asia made after the first album, but the video is cool even though it was obviously made on a budget of about $20 and a pack of bubblegum. I particularly like the bicycle helmet and bondage gear worn by the main character.

  • IHOP commercial.... special on pancakes and canadian bacon.. Get up and go in the background..... Wait something like this is coming

  • This song really rocks hard. Get up and Go!

  • great song

  • this video fits the song SO WELL!!! I remember when this first came out. The Cold War was still on... this album reflects that period perfectly.

  • 歌詞はさっぱりわからないけど、かっちょえぇ曲です。私は高2のときに聴いてました。

    今となっては、もう20年以上前のことです。

    懐かしい。。。

  • you'er totally right... just listen to "Countdown to Zero"... very cold-war oriented.

  • Remember the world we lived in before the wall came down, this was a very dark album, The atmosphere went from inviting blue, to foreboding purple. Mandy Meyer was Asia's Trever Rabin. Steve is Ireplaceable, just my opinion

  • That chick is HOT!

  • Great song! Thank you for posting! It brings back memories for more than 20 years ago. Greetings from Groningen, Holland!

  • Went to see them sun just gone they --- u were brill Wetton most dissapointed u didnt do this.

  • Astra is a great album. Howe or no Howe.

  • Anyone have a good tab for this song??

  • this is AWESOME! can u send me the audio please coz i CANNOT FIND IT!! =(

  • Google for it!

  • Asia Rocks!! sad to see Steve Howe not on this album, but another great guitarist!! Mandy Myers from the metal band Krokus!!!

  • When I first saw the LP I said to myself how the heck this guy got the gig, but got it anyway as I like the other musicians. Once I listened to it I completely changed my mind. He may not be too famous, but he's a capable guitarist. This is a great (and underrated) ASIA LP.

  • song rocks !

    Video sucks but who cares

  • yeah this video sucks indeed... the song? a definitive one-of-a-kind legend.

  • I don't know, I kind of like the shower scene during the power chord break. Firstly yes, it's hot. Secondly, it does visually with the music and it's the only moment in the video that makes sense. I think if the whole video was simply of the woman showering and better shots of the band playing it would be much better. Seriously, the band shots are too dark. You'd think David Fincher directed this one.

  • Great song, but a bit of a strange concept for this video...

  • Love this song!!!

  • Adjust breasts.

i need a bf. im so horny lol MP

  • Asia always have great videos and album covers

  • I just had the opportunity to meet Roger Dean (Asia album artist). He was very nice. I bought an autographed album cover print and art calender.

  • Really?:) Their covers are really truly amazing! You have the luck!

  • EXCELLENT

  • Mandy Meyer rocks!

  • Sci-fi concept was very much used in 80's clips; this one, "Mr.Roboto", Billy Ocean's "Loverboy" (they even used Star Wars Jawas on this one), "Wouldn't it be good"... Now it's all about bling and booty.

  • I miss that concept. Bling bling sucks balls.

  • Asia had the most random videos. Awesome, but random. Kickass tune. 5/5

  • wow does any one know were i can get this cd

if you do plz tell me thanx

  • WOW .. my fave band of all ...GO GO ASIA...thanks for posting ASia ... thanks so much...

  • Too bad Steve Howe is no longer on guitar when this song and the album ASTRA came out. Still a great song, though. I love ASIA, I have all of their albums on CD.

  • John Wetton and all in the group how the hell

you think and make that music!

Thank you so much!!!you inspire me and my

team then in the 80,s you gave us strenght

and inspiration for all we conquer...

  • "I dont wanna die before I get Old".

  • Not the greatest video in the world but another very good track from Asia.

  • Does anybody know who the girl in the video is? She was HOT in this video!

  • Cool video and a good 80s-song!

  • I love this band. Alwatya have. Great song, though I wonder if John Wetton's hair could be any bigger, ha.

Great in 1982, still great in 2007. Glad they reunited for a tour.

  • Wow my spelling is terrible. That SHOULD have read " love this band. Always have."

  • 1985-a little off!

  • I know this was released in 1985. I was referring to the year Asia released their first single. I meant they were a great band in 1982 when they first began, and are STILL great.

  • The video is descent, too bad she get's 'killed.'

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • Could this video have been any more retarded? I love the "yes" era of Asia..but this?..shudder...

  • The song is great but the video is not so good

  • Great playing by Carl Palmer (as usual)

  • FOLKS, it is not Trevor Rabin or Trevor Horn! It was Mandy Myer as someone else stated. End of story.

  • HEAT OF THE MOMENT is GREAT !

But this have more power !

    LOVE IT !

  • great asia song. great asia album. mandy meyer one kick ass guitar player.

  • THIS SONG SUCKS BIG TIME

    a shame for progressive rock

  • They were never intended to play soley progressive rock. They were more simply meant to have a BIG sound, with some influences from the progressive rock previously played, hence the name ASIA.

  • i like the small period of greg lake with asia!

  • Can you really hear any differences? I think that, Lake's terrible lyrics writing skills aside, he sounds VERY similar to Wetton.

They even looked alike to some degree...

  • I remember when their first album came out, they always will be great.

  • OMG! MTV used to play videos!! (tongue in cheek)

  • when was that?

  • During the Asia in Asia tour, for the most part.

  • I think it was about 1983. He temporarily replaced Wetton and MTV broadcast a show of the band live from Japan.

  • They're playing the Shepherd's Bush Empire, London later this year - can't remember when though.

  • My fave song of ASIA!!!

  • Comment removed

  • That trash show wouldn't have the budget for ASIA.

  • fantastic

  • Why is it that all bands named after geographic locales suck? (exception: Chicago)

P.S. Doesn't the main character in this video look like Alpha the robot from Power Rangers?

  • yes

  • racist!

  • Chicago??? They haven't had a good album since 1970 when they released III. I guess you never heard of Boston?

  • Now were talking big leagues...

  • ASIA, Kansas, UK, Boston, and Europe are/were all decent acts. Chicago is an atrocity, as is your acute lack of thought.

  • Lucky enough to see the band live at Wembley October 1982. Amazing nite. excuse me, nearly 25 years ago. Where did the time GO?

  • Neither was Trevor Rabin wth. People need to know their musicians haha. Just kidding some people have better things to do than listen to music and lift all day.

  • fabuleux...mais on ne voit pas la fin, dommage.

  • what a great soft rock song...and i loved the video too

  • get the fuck upo\ and GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • great song! one of the best songs of Asia

  • I really love their first 3 albums, it is one of my favorite groups, along with The Beatles and Malmsteen... ;-)

  • Same here...first three LPs are the best. Unfortunately,Asia gets a bad rap from a lot of purist rock fans in spite of it's supergroup line-up.

  • Best Asia video ever.

  • My favorit song since 20 years! Well- agree that vid isn't quite beyond ages - lol!

  • Damn. No wonder this video barely saw the light of day, even for an 80's video.

  • great band man! ive loved them since i heard them in my crib lol. i like after the war the best though someone should upload it

  • Musically, I'd say their best song was "Never in a Million Years."

  • wtg Trevor Rabin ? he was in Yes not Asia ! Go guitarist was Mandy Meyer (ex-Krokus) . Also what`s with Trevor Horn ? He never worked with Asia .

  • id like to kick trevor horn in the gonads and bring back steve howe..thank you

  • Trevor Horn wasn't in Asia. The man who replaced Steve Howe was Mandy Meyer.

  • That's absolutely correct.

  • You mean Trevor Rabin.

  • asia rocks great song!!

  • wtg trevor rabin

  • OH YES...THERE WILL BE A REUNION !!! THE ORIGINAL 4 MEMBERS !!

  • Sure will be, I saw them in concert last night, at Foxwoods :D

  • Rare MTV EXCLUSIVE logo on this video!

  • ROCK in the 1980's were ASIA, Robert Plant and with 90125 YES got the LP didn't know there was a Video

    Regards

    Mike
