@bluecollarboiler You can buy a Zydeco Rubboard from T. Don Landry and all you have to do is google his name and he web site should appear.

I saw the Lost Bayou Boys at Krazy Korner a few years ago and there was a washboard player. It wasn't this guy but he was equally good (really!). Does anyone know who this might be and where I can see him play now???

@GranMassaX They were great - better than buckwheat zydeco - at the XRIJF. Did 2 shows in the rain and dropped trou'. Had the girls moon them to gross them out. I hope to get them at a nearby college or at a 9/11-17 celebration. Po Boys and other Funk acts were fun too. Papa Does Funk (?) had leather lungs and we did the Soul Power bit. And we were mostly white !
