You do realize porting takes several business days at least? That's with any carrier or phone company. You can not pin this one on Cricket. That's why most people don't port their numbers because it's inconvenient. As a former Cricket customer, I know how bad it is but don't blame them for your problems.

1. If an account is disconnected, the phone number is automatically recycled after 30 days.

2. If you port a number out from Cricket, you cannot port it back.

3. You said "I requested a port an hour ago"... a port normally takes 2-4 hours.

Anyways,if it was a previous cricket number,which meams the number has been disconnected or cut off after a certain amount of time that passes you lose that number,you feel me? Its was previously,which means before so obviously we can see why you were having problems to begin with maybe the number wasnt available anymore unless it was active in another wireless carrier and you wanted to carry it over to Cricket.....but it wouldnt make sense to port a cricket number over to cricket.......

Wasn't Impressed by the video... working for a cricket authorized dealer i know that there is no possible way for that rep to do anything about the porting process. There is a separate port team that is in charge of porting a number and only they are the ones that can assist you with porting. The port took longer because it was a number that was originally cricket. When you took that number away they had to lock it out of our system making it a longer process to be once again active w/ cricket.
