I am writing a policy letter to the government in the Arizona about this now, I hope that it makes some impact. I know that this is not only benefiting your child but is also something that can help many other children.
In the process of doing my state paper on Arizona, I just read the devastating news about the ruling. I am so sorry, and I pray that God will provide a way for you to send Lexi back to Chrysalis Academy, no matter the opposition of that depraved, heartless ACLU and those sorry, lousy judges who ruled in their favor. My heart goes out to both of you.
This case is a perfect example of why we should get the government out of the school business.
Let the parents keep the money that's now forcibly taken from them in taxes, and spend it on the school that they believe is best for their child.
Let the schools compete, as free market entities, for the best teachers, so parents WANT to send their kids there. Let them specialize and cater to the different needs of different kinds of kids, with different interests, aptitudes and skill levels.
This is what happens when governments try to run things that should be run by private organizations.
You lose choice! If they ran the grocery stores you would have to shop at a particular grocery store that the government told you to, and if other grocery stores had better produce, too bad, your stuck!
I should have a choice to what school I send my child. I pay for it through taxes, but I am not FREE to decide where to send my child. How about closer to my work? - NO, etc...
This makes me so angry! These "eletist" Liberals think they can control everything and everyone. And the ACLU- it's about liberty? No, it's about control. These people need to be fought and defeated.
@Objectivist2112 I hear you about the ACLU. They're right up there with those doggone nazis! Only God could keep me from saying about those people what I'd like to. We certainly need to pray for our government for right direction, the liberals for their own salvation, and for ourselves so we'll continue to pray FOR them and not AGAINST them (believe me, that goes for me too!).
while this is a sad story and ever sadder story is all the many more special needs children who are in public school and whom the state (GOP) legislators have decided to ignore in favor of private schools. They like to give tax breaks to Corporations so they can help private schools and not public schools. To me this video is proof that AZ is doing a bad, bad job of funding public schools.
Silly comment. Public schools are awash with funding. The reason why we need the private specialized school is because lavishly-funded government schools are another example of a bloated, failed, incompetent state bureaucracy. For the ACLU and its collaborators to steal these poor kids' future in service of the radical teachers' union is abominable. Private schools do much more with far less.

now, . . . and don't we have here in appearance a prime example of a common form of unthink.
This is not a sad story: at :23 "remarkable things"; 1:02, "I found Chrysalis", "I knew she would grow, and she has.", and on and on and on.
The sad implication is rather, toward prison conditions in public ed.
But lo! three times the money for pub. ed.--for inferior teachers with their lesser results--is not nearly enough.
But, we may yet save the nation: ask your legislators for school vouchers.
