This is merely a shot in the dark. I know a Turkish doctor cured RA without drugs. But he said that early diagnosis is crucial since the damage on the joints is irreversible. With a 90% success rate though the RA is eliminated. However, the board of health, did not want to help him. Instead they wanted to steal his method by rejecting his thesis for professorship. He died with his secrets and I don't blame him.

@pjvdixon @pjvdixon Reactive Arthritis, possibly crohn's, are the result of your body fighting an infection within your cells. With Crohn's it is more likely just in your gut. Whether the infection is real was the big question. It seems that it is. Two choices to help with RA. Kill your immune system (Enbrel) which is attaching the infection or kill the infection (antibiotics). Antibiotics are cheap. Enbrel expensive.

By the way, studies on treating RA with antibiotics have been going on for 30 years. This isn't something new. The results are out there if you look for them. It's just that the pharmaceutical industry is protecting their billion dollar investment that you dont hear about it. They dont make squat on antibiotics so it is not pushed a treatment.

We tried alot of things even chinese herbs. Nothing seems to work. She could eat things like veggies, fruits, bread and ham, rice. But she can't eat fatty foods, and seafood. It's hard seeing my mom in pain, her joints are bent and can no longer move them.

Sorry, but the reality is that arthritis cannot be cured because of the genetic components as well as the inflammatory property of the disorder. Most time is that the 'treatment' for arthritis and medication are just hype because of all the money and profits involved. Arthritis is very complicated and unique in its affliction. There are many form of arthritis and each arthritis afflicts people differently.

A cure doesn't provide a stream of income forever (maximum profit is the law for public companies) and you can't sell a cure to the public for thousands of dollars, it wouldn't be tolerated by the public when in mass production of the "Willow Bark" costs $1-$100 each to make after spending the $1 billion to pay off the FDA and research costs. So some companies add additives, similar to cigarette companies, so you won't be completely cured.
