  • i swear...anyone who isn't touched by this band is dead inside. completely dead.

  • 3:42-3:52 bono's dad would have loved that part it's very opera like god bless

  • If I could find my Dad I would sing it to him. Even if I sounded shit, the words would come from the heart

  • I love this song. Stadio version from Vertigo is better than CD version... I have tears in my eyes :(

  • I played this song at my dads funeral, it just came out and i know Bono had wrote it for his dad and i thought it would be a fitting tribute to him. I'm glad i did. I would have love to have sang it though. Never mind Bono and the boys done us all proud. The old man would have said...Cheers for the song.

  • @funkmachine123 :: Your Dad must have been similar to mine, in his state of mind. Thanks for sharing, and may both live forever, my friend...

  • theres a reason why bono usually sings this song without his glasses on.

    his dad. bob. i cant recall which one is the right story but just in general. he either said those glasses are stupid or he looks stupid when he wears them.

    just a little note.

    God Bless

  • No need to argue about U2 or this outstanding song from a band with a whole bunch of extremely outstanding songs... But this Boston version for me is the most moving, touching, simply heart-breaking version I did ever have seen and listened to. Just look at the details - goosebumps pure, no words needed...

    @TheGavio93

    Agree... 3:43 : Amazing!

  • it's such a beautiful song...

    the more i think about it, the more i realize that "how to dismantle an atomic bomb" has a lot of beautiful songs that seem really under appreciated

  • 3:43 to 5:43 makes me want to cry. such raw emotions going on with in the band and the crowd

  • "There's no regrets. No tears goodbye. We'd only cry again. Say goodbye, again."

  • I love Edge's face at 4:42. Blessings.
