The Ron Paul camp should consider giving the Republican Party an ultimatum:

If Ron Paul is invited to the debates then he will agree not to run on a 3rd party ticket should he loose the primaries.

If he is not invited to the debates then should he loose the primaries he will run on the Libertarian party ticket (if they will have him) and siphon enough votes to damage the Republicans during the main elections.
