what a shame.. looks like the tibetans in Nepal are learning all the unruly behaviour from the Nepali people. I guess it's inevitable that the nepali hooligan behavior will rub off on Tibetans, who are actually far more dignified than your average Nepali

The great thing about living in modern time is the freedom of choice. To behave in certain way is your own choice not influenced by Nepali people. This is human behaviour, when you are in pain, grief, you do not care about anything. What peace has brought to all the Tibetan all these years living in exile? Sure violence is not the right way either but in deperation we do act unplanned....so don't think its Nepali's character to be violent....there are always positives and negatives in all of us.

the fact is nepal is small and very much reliant on foreign aid which china provides. beside that being landlock and surrounded by india in three side it needs china to counter indian unwanted influence within china so pragmatically and practically nepal is unwilling to let tibetan to protest against china. nevertheless nepal is also home to many succesful tibetan enterprenuers and indrustilist who enjoys way better life then most nepalese or tibetan exiles in india.

The tibetans of today don't know about the Feudalism that was Tibet before. 70 percent of Tibet was serfs and the monks enjoyed a lavish life while the workers slaved away. There was no rights back then ONLY RELIGION. Today there are limited rights but still better than back then!

The indeginous people or the first people to settle in Nepal are of Tibetan ethnicity. They have the same language with different dialects. Same people but different government. People should know this.

maybe you need to know this, go and look up who are "KIRAT" People. These are the first people to settle in Nepal. They are also known as "GURKHAS". Tibetans are the one to escape Tibet and then come to Nepal after 1950's.
