  • What a beautifully executed scene...I love it for eternity/////

  • thnx for the vid this is exactly how i need to sound like in my drama class :)

  • "In 'Artford, 'Ereford an' 'Ampshire 'urricanes 'ardly HEV-er 'appen."

Hahahaha!! Bless her. She's so cute when trying ^_^

  • aww i love this movie!!

  • Just because Audrey Hepburn doesn't sing like Julie Andrews doesn't mean she isn't a darn good actress. She sings a whole lot better than most people. NOBODY sings as well as Julie Andrews; it's no shame to be worse than her.

  • @aj5650

Ha ha LOL Audrey Hepburn doesn't even sing in this film, It is dubbed by Marni Nixon - (again) - Marni sang The King & I, not Deborah Kerr, West Side she sang Natalie Woods songs, Marni Nixon even sang some of Marilyn Monroes top notes.

Deborah Kerr was the only actress of the lot to give credit to Marni Nixon though.

She does have her own singing career and appeared in The Sound Of Music as a nun.

  • @wobblydog Yes, you are right; I didn't know this when I wrote the comment you are replying to. Marni Nixon is nothing special. I don't deny she was a talented singer, but she pales before Julie Andrews. They might as well have let Audrey Hepburn sing. At least it would have been real.

  • @aj5650 hmm Audrey sang the song "Just u wait, Henry Higgins Just u wait"...her singing voice sounded a bit hoarse in my opinion, so I'm glad they had Marni Nixon dubbing her singing, but I'm really mad that they dubbed Jeremy Brett's singing voice ><

  • I always laugh so hard with this scene! Audrey was so cute as Eliza, she was perfect for the role!

  • @FrankClanton

    WHAT. IS. YOUR. PROBLEM?!?!?

  • i.... i dont even know how to respond to that! she was amazing! i wonder what YOU consider talent... cuz this as pretty much as good as it gets!

  • "shall oi do it aowvah?"

  • just like family guy

  • in essence there is no 'correct way' of pronouncing H or any other word.

  • H is not a word!

    omg!

  • in the anglo saxon old english - it is.

  • It's just a letter or a phoneme, but never a word.

  • the entire 'posh' standard English and pronounciation is false. Victorians created eloqution in the aerly 19th century to set themselves vocally as well as outwardly, above the commons, before then all londoners spoke the same way, Shakespeare and all the monarch had earthy accents and plays were not 'posh' in any sense, unfortunatly the true English way of speaking is fading amongst adults, after years of watching BBC i too have lost my north London accent

  • Hello,
