I agree. Joey Logano is a very good driver, but I think Gibbs rushed him too fast. The kid is 7 months older than I am. I'm a senior in high school. I think Gibbs should have made Logano run 09 in Nationwide, then move him to Cup for a few races in 09, then a full Cup schedule in 2010.

I see a young Jeff Gordon in Joey Logano, talented but raw. Jeff entered Cup at 21, Joey's 18 and lacks experience. It's too early for him to be at the Cup level. I really think some Nationwide experience will help. I'd be suprised he makes it through the 2009 Cup season. I wouldn't be suprised that if they struggle early they'll lighten Joey's workload and keep him in NNS.

That's going to be tough. Gordon is one of the best drivers in NASCAR History. It'll be a tall order for Logano, and anybody else for that matter, to match him. Now if you were talking about ROBBY Gordon, whole 'nother issue entirely.

I agree. I am a big fan of Joey Logano, but I do not want to his career to fall apart like Casey Atwood's did. Casey was also very talented and was often compared to Jeff Gordon talent wise. Like Joey, Casey was very successful in the Busch series, but couldn't handle the pressure on the Cup circuit. Joey seems confident, and I am confident he will succeed in the Cup series, but I also feel it would be best if he waited a while.
