Florida had there chance and failed besides all the hispanics there are cuban and they like baseball imtelling you racing indy fc better become a team
PLEASE someone with money help get St. Louis a team! We have more soccer history than any other city in America - over 100 years worth! We could field a starting XI with strictly St. Louis natives and be competitive! All we need is a new owner to spearhead it - preferably with enough money! We have history, fans, and wouldn't everyone love to see a 3-way midwestern derby with Chicago Fire and SKC?
@2011maxaguilar The Bay Area already has a team in San Jose. It wouldn't make much sense to put a new MLS Franchise in San Francisco, since the city is so close to San Jose.
What's wrong with Canada. Many Canadian teams are making MLS money. Edmonton could be a decent team for MLS. But I agree that the South East should get a team. Like Atlanta, Miami, and Charlotte.
San Diego deserves and MLS team. I say relocate Chivas USA to San Diego and, of course, change that asisnine name of theirs. Complete abomination to have team with a name like that in the MLS.
Miami (Fort Lauderdale) has some of the strongest football history in America. Players like George Best, Gerd Muller, Gordon Banks were the original Thierry Henry's and David Beckhams of football. The Fort Lauderdale Strikers are coming back, and its about time MLS got a venue in the South. Florida has one of the highest Latin populations in America. Its one of the most international states in America. Football will, and always has, thrived here.
Dallas Cowboys stadium had real grass grown in a outside city, then installed it over the artificial turf specificly for the World Football Challenge last year.... after Chelsea and America played they donated the grass turf to charity......but i remember them mentioning the cost......100,000 bucks
No to Atlanta. They gave up on Atlanta when they were still WINNING!
No to Miami. At least not yet, its unfortunate. But the one silver lining is that there's so much discontent that two clubs could be made there. But then you have TWO teams that can't draw. NEXT!
NORTH CAROLINA! Where is Raleigh to make this happen?!? MLS needs you!
Indy?!? Definitely RIFC!! Geezus wrote this so it must be true!
Although it's nowhere near likely to happen anytime soon, I hope New Orleans one day gets a team in the MLS. There's a huge Honduran/latino presence in the city that could be the basis for big group of supporters. Also, there are a bunch of kids down here that are really good players that can be great so the team would have a lot of homegrown talent to choose from. But like I said, it's not likely to happen for a long time, if at all. Oh well. :\

@JMillMac1120
My friend, you just had a Div 2 team that folded in less than a year: AC St Louis. I doubt MLS saw that as a positive, unfortunately for St Louis.

If the Cosmos come back, that will destroy a lot of the Red Bulls fan base.

If MLS wants to make money then these are cities they should expan to
Atlanta: Create a Rivalry with Florida's MLS teams and Carolina
Carolina: Create a Rivalry with Florida and Atlanta
Maimi or Tampa Bay: Creat a Rivalry with Atlanta
Edmonton: Create a stronger Canadian Championship Rivalry
St. Louis: Create a rivalry with Chicago and Kansas
Detriot: Create a rivalry with Toronto and Chicago
San Antonio or Austin: Create a stronger Texas Derby Rivalry
