i worked for awhile at a "continuing care retirement community," a retirement home for wealthy people. every once in awhile, a widow and widower (usually late 70s to 80s, occasionally younger) would get married. most of them had been together for a few years and wanted to partner like that before they passed. they were very much in love and it was so difficult to see one pass away occasionally weeks after the marriage. so, no, definitely not too late.

OK uncle Zip...here's my advice.
When you go out with a younger man make sure you pay for his meals and pick up the bar bill. You'd be amazed at how that works to your advantage. Also, talk dirty at the right moment....it's like music to most young guys ears.

Personality counts for more than youth with some people who have more depth than the mainstream... I'm 44 and my girlfriend is 51.
