  • I ment maniac

  • U play like a manic

  • Blitz is not real chess...

  • it is amazing how good at tactics young chess players are 'these days', but I still don't like the fact that they look at chess as just another game. Young chess players nowdays know who Kasparov is because he is famous if kasparov was not that famous young guys would not even know and care about who he was, I remember 'back in the days' the first thing chess coaches taught was chess history and they also taught their students who all the good chess players had been throughout history.

  • In other words chess coaches use to teach a deep respect for the game before they even taught chess to you. Nowdays most young chess player don't have any respect for the game

  • ok...first of all its not FAID its F-EEE-D-AY

Second of all...You are an idiot. Do not regard to people as if you knew them.

  • @ChessTheBlitzer: Cut the crap. You have no basis whatsoever to say such nonsense.

  • I have not basis? look at my video called best chess players, click on the video's description on right and make sure you click the link that says better quality, look at that video in full screen and tell me how many of those chess players 80% of young chess players have and idea of who they were/are

  • Respect for the game comes through hard work, not memorizing entertaining historical data. You think Chris Paul gives a damn about Tiny Archibald or whichever historical NBA figure the media compare him to? No, he's much more focused on working hard to become the best player he can be, and that's what fuels his passion and appreciation for basketball. That's what it boils down to in every sport/game. I think many amateurs have trouble realizing that because they simply don't know any better.

  • right on.

  • Chess is different and I truely believe that those who don't care for its history and getting information about who the best players throughout history have been should not get anywhere close to this game, when it comes to basketball, I don't care if you are Kobe braynt if you don't care for the history of the game I don't care about any of your skills, you are just a disrespectful element to me

  • I think it is simply ridiculous to post such a video. Yes, your arms and hands were so nice to look at while you move those pieces, and you guys move so fast. And if you believe that, then . . .

  • I'm sorry, but I don't understand your comment. Do you mean to say that they really aren't moving that fast? If that's the issue, you really haven't seen enough people playing chess. Look up Nakamura and see the speed demon at work. I posted the video because its an interesting endgame where neither side has much time and Davorin could have had perpetual at almost anytime before Qxa6. Then it's simply awesome how Sal finishes the mate before either side runs out of time.
