@mcoordinator he was supposedly taken by Lawerance Alamain and somehow ended up in Dimera custody where they "erased" his memory and then dropped him in Cincinati with little to no ID other than the name Nick Stockton....Jack ended up in the Hospice and Steve(Nick) was working there and helping Jack...Jack persuaded him to take a DNA test and the rest is history

OMG. Amazing acting. They had me 20 yrs ago and they still have me now. Oh the memories.You just can't appreciate this amazing love story when you're a teenager.
I'm glad. It was and still is something special. You probably have a much better attention span than I did as a teenager (smile). I remembered they had this amazing "chemistry " but I never fully realised what phenomenal actors they were.
I'm 17 and I truly enjoy of all the supercouples. J&M is my favourite (I've watched all the storylines on youtube (+ made montages of my own) and fallen in love with the couple) but right after them come Steve&Kayla, Jack&Jennifer, Kim&Shane, Bo&Hope.
It's a pity the writing team never realized the talents they were having- and now it's too late because only Bope is left of them. I'm so sorry that Days ain't Days anymore. I will stop watching the show when J&M leave Days here in Finland :((
It's my honest opinion that Steve and Kayla saved Days when Bo and Hope left back in 87' I didn't have time to miss them because as soon as they sailed off, Steve and Kayla heated up!
They've always had phenomenal chemistry together. I always had a feeling from the first time that they laid eyes on each other that they were going to be a great couple.
I have watched this couple since day one and they have had me ever since then. My heart just dropped when I found out they were coming back I have been glued to the TV every since. I just want to tell you that you do a wonderful work job at keeping us so updated. Just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH from Thackshaw31.
The writer did a good job of sticking true to who Kayla is. She's a class act, and was willing to let him go if he couldn't remember her. Other Days females would have pulled some decepitive or manipulative tricks.
Even when Steve didn't have his memory and was calling himself Nick he was very protective of Kayla and didn't want to see her in pain.

I like Bo & Hope and John & Marlena also but Steve & Kayla are my heart for life.
How far behind are you in Finland?. I am in Antigua (in the Caribbean) but we get the U.S cable so we are up to date.
