Danny and Conrad are the nicest men i have met in the music world. True Legends! Sat with them at a house in Edinburgh, after a set up there, back in 94. The whole house was "interviewing" him, and he was lovely. He told us that he couldnt make chart music as it needs to be a certain length (radio edit) to chart, and he didnt want to compromise his art.... And he never did. Long live the king of DnB!

I'm 17 and i've been listening to DnB for a good 5 years now, and i have to admit that i started by listening to Jump Up style and such, but after awhile, digging deeper in the genre's legacy i was starting to encounter these DnB artists with more instrumental sounding beats and with a lot more attention going into the melody. I wish i had been there when this music was being played in the clubs, instead of the brostep and wobble-infected DnB that they play nowadays.
