My Dobies are a pair of Goofs. Cleopatra is black, and a regular attention hound. Kreig is red, and a coward, but a sweetheart. Ironic, considering his name means war in german. I love the little oddballs though.
Let's see how loyal a hungry doberman really is! my mom's dobberman bit my cousin in the rear cuz they forgot to feed him for a day! these dogs are the least loyal! i know from experience, not just from 1 dog!
@dnzcso he deserved to be bit for not feeding the dog. And btw, I've lived around dobs my entire life, they are loyal, sweet, patient, tender hearted animals, with gentle personalities and tenacious love for their owners. I was pretty much raised by one. They just need a SMART owner with a good background in obedience training, and owners that don't FORGET TO CARE FOR THEM PROPERLY. Sorry but you'd be pretty pissy if no one fed you for a day.
@dnzcso any dogs that are not trained and raised correctly will be a problem. And obviously your moms dog isn't treated right... forgot to feed it??? I feel bad for the dog.
i have had 3 rottweilers , rottweilers are great ! i am currently with one south african boerboel (gentle, great gaurd dog) now im on my way of buying a dobby to add
I have had 3 dobermans and everyone said they were some of the nicest, kindest and cuddliest dogs they have ever met. It makes me mad that people always judge them as mean and ferocious because they are complete sweethearts.. I will always have dobes all my life and try to show people that the only reason a doberman is bad or scary, is because the owner has made it like that.
Dobbies really are good dogs. My bf came home with one 3 years ago. She is the sweetest, most loving dog ever. She was the runt of the little so she is only 65 lbs and is a cry baby.. but it kinda adds to her endearment. She LOVES everyone that comes over, is GREAT with playing with small dogs. Though she does live up to her name. Hellion. Shes can get pretty annoying but she is a beautiful dog. I love her to pieces... though it took quite some time to establish my dominance over her.
live in florida i need a dog tht lives outside, i need someone to help me, should i get rottweiler or doberman? or if there is other dogs tht are better plz tell me. The weather here is cold during the winter and really hot during the summer. Plz help me thank you!
@SuperGhost004 A German shepherd would be a good choice because it is intelligent and a good guard dog plus they make excellent companions. in winter they grow a thicker coat. You can also get a doberman they're also intelligent and strong and make great companions but you might want to put a dog coat or whatever its called on him when it gets cold
I lived in africa as a christian missionary another missionary family had a doblerman rotty mix , max he was soo cute never dreamed of hurting a fly he was in love with my neighbors german sheperd, baily, max would jump over baily's 4 ft fence to see her!
Racism is the pits n dobermans ! Bad rep... when they SHOULD have a good rep...... Aggressiveness? I think they're really sweet.... Killers? I dont think so.... >:( So people are being racist to these dogs.... WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!
oh and they left this out, and i just wanted to let you all know, that Dobies normally only live up to 8 years not only because all the diseases they mentioned in the vid but also bcause the fct of since they're so big, if they run around right after they eat, then you HAVE to be careful, because the stomach could end up flipping itself over cause the food to build up without getting to the digestive system, causing the dog to die:(
hey guys so i have a doberman and we rescued him from the pound and before we got him he was hit by a car and his hip broke and his owner at the time did nothing to help it heal properly so now we have to be careful when we play with him, and ive also noticed that he does shake his back leg alot, is that the wobblers disease? can we do anything to help it?
we are a doberman family though our first dog was a pitbull we had a female but she ran away while at school and now we have a one year old made dobbie
Your Doberman is awesome!!!!! I have a chihuahua, he is similar to yours. Check out my videos and you'll see him! I want a Doberman too. But I live in a apartment. I'm planning to get one soon!!!!!
Just down the hill where I live on Punchbowl here in Hawaii, there are two Dobermans I nicknamed "Zeus and Apollo". Thumbs up if you know what I am referring to....

@484034970 Did you know that tail docking and ear cropping is routinely done without anesthesia? Likewise, these dogs are less capable of showing fear, submission, etc. Balance is thrown off, and certain docked breeds need their tails for swimming. Yeah, that's real responsible pet ownership you fucking moron. How about I cut YOUR ears off? would YOU like that?
My bf has a dobie named Angel and she is the sweetest smartest 1.5 year old puppy who doesn't even realize that she looks very viscous yet weighs about 90lbs. Sometimes she likes to argue and or just go nuts with her toys reminds me that she's still a puppy... Good looking, less grooming, protective and cuddly!

@coondog7251 Rottweilers are not as loyal and obedient as Dobermanns. They are also not as quick to respond, agile, alert, swift, and active as Dobermanns. By the way, you should go check out this one video called "Guard Dog Training Centre Sydney Australia" here on YouTube.
@coondog7251 i was not dissing the pincher i love them and have had several i was just saying my rotties have been the most loyal so far and thanks for the video
I had one at home when I was 16, my best friend, Brie. Now I'm 44 and have taken on a 6 year old bitch from a lady who wanted to spend all her time with her new baby(!). Judy is a fantastic addition to the family. 2 children, aged 9 and 8, a Lurcher and a Jack Russell and she has fitted in perfectly. My children's friends all love her. Soppy cuddly doberman.
@latrokatipo What this really means is that they are, according to Stanley Coren's list, the fifth most trainable dog in the world. The list contains approximately one hundred popular dog breeds in the United States. Dobermanns are quite loyal and obedient, and the more they're bred for working purposes, the faster they pick up and obey commands, but only with proper training.
@DiamondRavenChannel Hehe I was just pointing out that "the 5th smartest dog" is not the same as "the smartest thing on 4 feet" - so those who say it is the smartest thing on 4 feet are obviously wrong. It was a hilarious contradiction. Smart doesn't necessarily mean trainable though! I love dobermans they are such noble dogs and have great looks to boot.
@latrokatipo Agree. Smart does not necessarily mean trainable. Jack Russell Terriers are incredibly intelligent dogs. However, they are not all that loyal and obedient, making them quite difficult to train. Those little rascals have a mind of their own. But Dobermanns are highly trainable dogs. Instead of saying, "...the fifth smartest dog..." the narrator should have said something more like, "According to Stanley Coren’s list, the Dobermann is the fifth most trainable dog."
@101MFE Based on a list of best guard dogs, it's the Bullmastiff. However, the list only deals with breeds popular in the U. S. A. It doesn’t list breeds such as the Occasion Ovcharka, but it lists breeds such as American Staffordshire Terriers. Amstaffs shouldn’t be anywhere near such list, and Ovcharkas are one of the best property guards. Dobermanns didn’t originate as guard dogs, but instead personal protection dogs. Dobies are the best personal protectors, but it depends on their bloodline.
@101MFE European working line Dobermanns (Mooreiche, Doberwache, Ellendonk, Blitzkrieger, Weyermühle, and more bloodlines) have the best temperaments for personal protection. They have the most prey/defense/fight drive of any Dobermann. They are very sharp, have plenty of hard nerves, and a powerful desire to work efficiently for their handlers for the longest time possible. But then again, not all of them have the best build for working. Some may be too lightly built and/or disproportionate.
@101MFE European Dobermanns, such as Fedor del Nasi, Texas von Karpatia, Baron Nike Renewal, etc. have the best body build for working. But unfortunately, they are from European show lines, which means they don’t have the temperament of an excellent working Dobermann. But there are European working lines with good builds as well, such as Ilo von Weyermühle.
I have two Dobermans who I've named Roscoe and Desoto. (Imaginary cookie for whoever can guess the reference without looking it up). They behave like sweethearts towards me but they tend to be very vicious with outsiders.
I was actually really said when they died (or did only one die, cant remember, its been awhile). I love Dobermans, they really are beautiful dogs, I want two of them, whenever I eventually move out of my apartment, and into a house so they can run around.
@dearprude Well they appeared to both have died but I like to imagine that they survived somehow (it is Disney after all). And yes they are. I sure feel safe with them around.
I. love. Dobbies. I had one growing up and she was the most lovable, sweet, gentle dog around. She was alpha, and when we got a Corgi it tried to ursurp our Doberman. She would ignore the Corgi most of the time, but when it got out of line she would quickly and gently put it in it's place.
@lockandload2011 A well-bred dobie is more reliable than a rottie, and it will be easier to train. Dobies use their heads more than rotties -- rotties are more explosive, while a dobie is less likely to rush into trouble and will assess a situation more calmly. But whatever breed you choose, please, be sure to spend a little more and get a healthy puppy from a reliable breeder.
so he named his chihuahua pablo...no racial...

Judy is a fantastic addition to the family. 2 children, aged 9 and 8, a Lurcher and a Jack Russell and she has fitted in perfectly. My children's friends all love her. Soppy cuddly doberman.

lol! "Some say the smartest thing on 4 feet...it's the 5th smartest dog" well...those people are WRONG!
latrokatipo 2 months ago
@latrokatipo What this really means is that they are, according to Stanley Coren's list, the fifth most trainable dog in the world. The list contains approximately one hundred popular dog breeds in the United States. Dobermanns are quite loyal and obedient, and the more they're bred for working purposes, the faster they pick up and obey commands, but only with proper training.
DiamondRavenChannel 2 months ago
@DiamondRavenChannel Hehe I was just pointing out that "the 5th smartest dog" is not the same as "the smartest thing on 4 feet" - so those who say it is the smartest thing on 4 feet are obviously wrong. It was a hilarious contradiction. Smart doesn't necessarily mean trainable though! I love dobermans they are such noble dogs and have great looks to boot.
latrokatipo 2 months ago
@latrokatipo Agree. Smart does not necessarily mean trainable. Jack Russell Terriers are incredibly intelligent dogs. However, they are not all that loyal and obedient, making them quite difficult to train. Those little rascals have a mind of their own. But Dobermanns are highly trainable dogs. Instead of saying, "...the fifth smartest dog..." the narrator should have said something more like, "According to Stanley Coren’s list, the Dobermann is the fifth most trainable dog."

Hey Chad. Im looking at dogs as of late and I was wondering how much training you invested in Ramsey to get her to where she is at?

What is the best gruad dog?
101MFE 3 months ago
@101MFE Based on a list of best guard dogs, it's the Bullmastiff. However, the list only deals with breeds popular in the U. S. A. It doesn’t list breeds such as the Occasion Ovcharka, but it lists breeds such as American Staffordshire Terriers. Amstaffs shouldn’t be anywhere near such list, and Ovcharkas are one of the best property guards. Dobermanns didn’t originate as guard dogs, but instead personal protection dogs. Dobies are the best personal protectors, but it depends on their bloodline.
DiamondRavenChannel 3 months ago
@101MFE European working line Dobermanns (Mooreiche, Doberwache, Ellendonk, Blitzkrieger, Weyermühle, and more bloodlines) have the best temperaments for personal protection. They have the most prey/defense/fight drive of any Dobermann. They are very sharp, have plenty of hard nerves, and a powerful desire to work efficiently for their handlers for the longest time possible. But then again, not all of them have the best build for working. Some may be too lightly built and/or disproportionate.
DiamondRavenChannel 3 months ago

I love Dobermans, they really are beautiful dogs, I want two of them, whenever I eventually move out of my apartment, and into a house so they can run around.
dearprude 2 months ago
@dearprude Well they appeared to both have died but I like to imagine that they survived somehow (it is Disney after all). And yes they are. I sure feel safe with them around.

PrincessPappion 3 months ago
I. love. Dobbies. I had one growing up and she was the most lovable, sweet, gentle dog around. She was alpha, and when we got a Corgi it tried to ursurp our Doberman. She would ignore the Corgi most of the time, but when it got out of line she would quickly and gently put it in it's place.
Wonderful dogs. :)

Dobermans and German Shepards are the best dogs. They are very protective and if you train them, make sure they know who not to hurt... >.>

@lockandload2011 What are you looking for in a dog, and what's your experience with dogs?

@lockandload2011 I prefer the Rottweiler but it's your own choice.

CristoofRomania 3 months ago
@lockandload2011 A well-bred dobie is more reliable than a rottie, and it will be easier to train. Dobies use their heads more than rotties -- rotties are more explosive, while a dobie is less likely to rush into trouble and will assess a situation more calmly. But whatever breed you choose, please, be sure to spend a little more and get a healthy puppy from a reliable breeder.
