  • That's an amazingly short circuit - each lap is taking you around 40 seconds, but it looks quite technical. I think you could reduce the vibration in the video by fitting some rubber washers between the brackets and the frame and also to where the camera mounts to the bracket to absorb some of the engine vibes. Great sound from the bike but what speeds were you doing?

  • Hey are you in Japan? Me too, and a Guzzi Rider.

    I'm in Kamakura now...

  • I enjoyed your video a lot. Exciting track btw!

  • It would be interesting to race you on my Moto Guzzi Lemans. The handling looks sluggish as you're going around the turns which seems odd... but I haven't been on a Bellabio. It may be a difference between a Tonti-frame and non-Tonti framed Guzzi. Hey that track looks quite nice.

  • Track is nice, though I don't have much experience, only this and Fuji Speedway once. This one is really small perhaps best for 100cc bikes. Track record made by 600cc bike. You are right, Ballabio is kind of stiff to turn. One thing is the steering angles: I really need to hand on the side to make it turn. I lowered the front and riced the rear little, and that helped. Rounder rear tire could make Guzzi to turn easier, too.

  • how did you do the onboard camera?

  • I made the holder from holed flat irons I got from a hardware store.

You can see it in the beginning of the clip.

  • NICE Vid !! Thanks, I always enjoy by looking at it. Look at my V11 by clicking on my name. It weights 190kg dry.

  • Nice bike. I can see the weight reduction in silences and in the tail, but there must be much more. 190kg is light, and you still have the generator, starter, and I guess a battery.

Obviously you don't have any more problems with the side stand touching thre ground:-) How do you stop your bike in front of the cafe:-)

  • Nice sound... miss my V11...

  • Sounds like you never got out of 3rd gear....track not big enough for the goose

  • Only got the 3rd in some times for half a second in the end of the home straight...

Small track, yes. But it is really enjoyable. Even when the temperature was just few degrees above freezing point, I felt so hot just by riding 30 minutes, swetting actually. Guzzi is kind of heavylish. 230kg:-)

    Great feeling anyway.

  • Waiting for better weather....

Then we´re also on the track again..

  • I started riding a bike 40 years ago as kid. Had 18 years gap after I sold my second Guzzi GT850. But it was never before this year I tried on track.

Great, really. Fun, of course, but also safe because no traffic, and you don't have to follow the pals as they wait at the pit stop anyway. I learned not to lean on handle bar when braking, which changed the balance of bike and made the front wheel oddly loaded. The best is that I don't feel like a criminal even if I try to accelerate a little:-)

  • I just love Guzzis. I've got one, too. I've never run mine on a racetrack, though.

  • wow, very good video, sound bellissimo
