been watching some of your videos....and i would like to know how u start e class???? do you teach the steps first and then do the combination or do u just go straight at it and do the routine over and over??? regards from denmark
@baloorina Most Zumba classes have one or two warm up songs where more difficult choreography can be practiced at half tempo, but for the most part Zumba is all about repetition. Keep Dancing Denmark! =0)
Thank u for including someone plus size! I love Zumba, but sometimes have to adapt/tone down the moves to be suitable to my level....was gr8t to see everyone doing it at there own level!
@cortneyprutgers Thank you. That was me. I have since become a Zumba instructor myself since this video was taken and I am still big, actually a tad bigger since I had a kid recently and Im 42 years old. People love my classes and I think I surprise people. They expect a easy class but that is NOT the case.

this is super - I was looking for some easy cha-cha choreography that I can do with my little girls students and I finally find it - you are great !!!! Thanks for it
What are "Charleston Chugs"? I have that direction in a musical I am doing with kids, and I was hoping to see it in this video--but another video does "chugs" very different from anything in here. Which part are the chugs? Thanks. :)

@Katrieneliz Sorry I didn't answer sooner. Somehow I missed this comment. A chug is when you put both feet together (or you can do one at a time when you are clogging) and you do a push/jump (chug) forward to one side and then repeat on the other side. I do chugs in the middle of the song (during the bridge) and the song ends with two chugs. Hope that answers your question. =)
Yes it is my own. I choreographed this routine about a year ago. The music does lend itself to a particular kind of dancing though. i.e. the cha cha. : )

not a cha cha rythym, but that's probably been mentioned a few times here already.

@mamboqueen999 Yup! Thank you. Since the name of the song is "Cha Cha" I threw a few cha, cha moves in there.

Zumba is ook wel bewegen op muziek misschien is dat handiger dan buiten de muziek dansen!!!!

fyi - this is actually a samba rythym even tho it has "cha cha" in the name.
cha cha rythym would have 1-2-3 cha cha (3 full beats, 2 half beats)
