Dr. Amy Yasko is putting on a webisode series which talks about her work in Autism. She has been saying this same thing for years and her protocol has helped hundreds of children recover. The episodes air every sunday night at 8pm EST. They are up for two weeks at a time so you can watch each one at your convenience. They are very informative and I believe everyone would benefit from watching. Just a thought, I hope this helps!

Children under 2 years old are very sensitive to their mother's/parents subconscious state. They pick up any stress, material desire, pride, fear and etc. from their mom. What are the consequences? Autism, depression, violence..and etc. Change within, your inner impression of the world, accept self forgiveness, love and your children will get better. And stop vaccines before they are 2 years old. If you have to do them, descrease their quantity and do only basic ones after a child is 2..

I attended the funeral of a young work colleague a few years ago. This was the Poem her family asked the Minister to read out, there was a hush when he was reading it, then people started to cry. Such amazing, beautiful insightful words.

when i was in middle school there was an autistic kid in my class who always just got frustrated with his work, always kicking and screaming and throwing a blazing fit of fury and frustration once i tried to talk to him and he jumped out his seat and tried to fucking attack me. he never wanted to work, if he got something as simple as division he would make a big deal about it and fucking scream hysterically at the teacher.

there are many forms of autism some include the behavior you are describing. Not talking is because they dont know how to say what they want to . Knowing how to do something and doing it requires a neural connection in their brains which a child with autism simply does not have. Please understand that this child cannot control thier actions and Autism can have different affects on the child with it. I am a single parent with two autistic kids. To suggest the rate was 1 in 10,000 10 years ago (in 1997) is just plain wrong. To then compare that to today's Autism Spectrum Disorder rate is an apples to sheep comparison. Autistics deserve accurate information.

My brother has high functioning autism.

My brother does not have any missing pieces.

The fact that you can't figure out the puzzle, doesn't mean pieces are missing.

That aside, it was good. I just wish that there could be more focus on helping those with autism learn to speak and/or communicate (many can communicate with a computer even if not by speaking out loud) and enjoy life, and less focus on "ending autism" or trying to make those with autism conform to our idea of "normal."

One thing I should mention about the seeming rise in autism:  there are whole bunches of people who were missed in the sixties and seventies, and this includes people with rather late first speech. I am one of those.

I think that autism diagnoses being on the rise is more related to increasing awareness than an actual rise in cases. Most people with autistic characteristics were just considered eccentric... (Einstien?)

My oldest son was diagnosed with moderate/severe autism at 24mths. He is now flourishing, entering mainstream school on-time at 5 years old. We've done nothing special except believe in his ability to learn and worked with all our energy to go 'find' him! Miracles do happen, he is living proof.  Great video. The more of these that are out there, the more society will respond!
