  • a tommy fan from CO. sent me a copy of this entire show,,Tommy was ON Point this night!!!!!!

  • A totally underated song...it rocks!

  • Sorry, but cannot agree that Hughes should have been the lead. Coverdale has him covered for this kind of song. Hughes didn't hit his peak until the 90's IMHO. Best DP line up that NEVER happened was Balckmore, Lord, Coverdale, Paice and Glover.

  • @mazqeraid Wow, I'm surprised you put Coverdale ahead of Ian Gillan. But fair play, everybody has their favorite..

  • @andresihotang Yeah, I know - radical old me. I'm not saying that Gillan is worse, just that I prefer Coverdale's bluesy voice compared to Gillans scream. Gillan was perfect for the Mk2 songs, but I couldn't see hime delivering Mistreated, You Fol No-One, Sail Away or Love Don't Mean a Thing. Same as Coverdale not being able to do justice to Mk2's catalogue (mostly). Each to their own, I guess.

  • @mazqeraid Ian Gillan won't do that song, those Mk3 songs, because according to him it will be like practicing the making love scene of his ex-wife and her new husband heh..heh..heh..

  • 35 years ago tonight... this was going down. Too bad nothing this good happens today.
