i have the same box..took the subs out and i have them in a slot ported box and each sub has an alipine m500 on it.... @4 ohms they see 300 rms each and they love it..but i wouldnt go much more than 300 or 400 rms each sub...i might just pull one of my alpines off and see how they like only 1 @ 2 ohm...good little subs for the buck..amp sucks tho...tn250/1...gave that away..lol..noce setup..keep bangin bro

How hard do these hit? Also, how long to they take to break in? And do you think I should buy the combo package with the subs, box, and amp? or just get the subs and the box together, and get a more powerful amp?

@daveygtheone Tuned the right way, they hit pretty hard. They aren't 15in or anything but the amp that it comes with (the one I have) is 400w max and the subs are 1200w max. They are way underpowered but if get the combo, its not too shabby and should tide you over if you want to get a stronger amp down the road. Combo is a good bang for your buck and when you get a stronger amp for the subs, it should pound preeettty hard.

@daveygtheone Hey man. Just an update: my amp- the mtx tna 251- has been overheating a lot. I'm looking to eventually upgrade it in the future, but if you were on the fence whether or not to get a better amp now, I'd say go for it if you have the money. Again, hope this helps.

@ScoobyBaseball I got my 2 terminator subs, and bought a better 1000W amp to go with them, they hit so hard i cant stand listening to them on loud, so i had to turn the gain down less than 50% on the amp haha. thanks for the help man :D

im pretty sure you need a bigger amp if you even have one....and deffinetly a better radio....those are massssive subs and goood subs at that...they deffinetly can be pushed harder

@baseballdude1065 Yea, hope to get a JBL 1200/1 or something like that down the road, but in this vid it had the stock head unit, volume is really low, no eq, and gain is close to zero. Not making excuses, but I can put up a vid of it now (in my '06 Stratus) cause he definitely hits hard for what it is. :) Thanks for the comment though. :D

I almost bought a 2001 LX 5-speed back in early May, just as good as the Sentra but it had 30,000 more miles and it was a little more worn out. Hard to find a Honda in good shape these days.

And yea, I know, but for one this a DD and I just wanted some kickin subs for some good bass- nothing to major since it would annoy everybody and it, already, makes the review useless. Second, it was hardly turned up in the video; the volume goes up by 4s or 5s per unit, and about 15 total units. Bass was low, and, setting me back about $350 bucks, i wanna wait to get a good deck. :)
