this game is so underrated because its hard to be good at, but its so different from other games that its a very unique, especial and fun game to play.. the only messed up thing is that the enemys come always in the same order, stage and that you dont get to fight secret characters or sephiroth or etc, thats the only fuck up, its a fun game with lots of moves, lot of freedom in movement, its awesome

You're right. Ehrgeiz was an arcade game before it was a PSX game, but the person who posted above you is just as dumb as you are for stating something false as fact.

You say none of the FF7 characters were in the arcade version, yet there were. Cloud and Tifa were the only two in there, atleast when I played it at the arcades.

Sephiroth, Vincent, Yuffie, and Zack were added to the PSX version.

Also. Vincent plays "similar" to Godhand. Alot of attacks are different from those of Godhand.

This game is nowhere near the same as tekken since it uses more of a wrestling engine rather then the standard fighting engines. You're free to walk and jump in the arena, whereas Tekken was towards or away from your foe with some sidesteps.

The fighting is also blocky and unbalanced due to that fact compared to Tekken, which was a great fighting game.

Vincent actually uses Godhand's movesets.

So basically he's a clone of godhand with a different skin. The same as Star Fox and Star Wolf in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

As far as "I'M" concern, the character in "GODHAND" is a copy of "Vincent" in term of movesets.

No. The game isn't based off FF7 except for a few characters, weapon names used in FF7 as well as other random RPG games, and a few weapons like the Buster Sword that look like the weapons did when they were used in FF7(when mentioning weapons I'm talking about the quest mode.)

That's because Vincent is similar to another character in the game named Godhand. Godhand's name is Ken Godhand Mishima who is a reference to the Tekken characters. Seeing as Ehrgeiz was created by Squaresoft as well as Namco, that's why there are references and characters from both companies.
