Saw McBeth at the beaver state fling this year. He's got a 600 hundred foot arm. He and Dion Arlyn both broke the Christian Sandstrom distance record this year at a non WFDF sanctioned distance contest. McBeth threw 860 and Arlyn hit a building at 863!
@CeeDubVids A good arm no doubt, but that doesn't look like 600 feet to me. Anyway, I'm more impressed by weaving the disc through obstacles on a course thick with trees. I guess that's because that's what I have the most trouble with, and all I ever see these "pros" doing is playing on the open prairie.
@revelinabandon Ya, the distance is hard to judge but I've seen him throw in person at glass blown and I don't doubt his powers. I'd be happy to see more of the shot you mention on here, I suppose it's just hard to get it on camera and look worthwhile. I personally love putting videos (the one with nikko and ulibarri going around fountain hills is probably my favorite) and wish there were more of them.
