  • Well, dudes, somebody made out, because I sold this guitar for $6,000!!!!!

  • more like 20 to 30 grand

  • is that an original,,,,cuase if it is I have that same guitar. The only diff is that yours is much more brown than mine is. It almost looks like the color of my 68'. anyway..great job

  • fucking great guitar and very good (extraordinary) playing!

  • Nice Sound

  • really nice! is that a line 6 you're using? Wanna jam? I'll bring my LP Special...

  • wow

    smooth

  • I think it's more impressive that he's not playing AC/DC. The SG has been stereotyped for being a hard rock guitar. Not that it's a bad thing. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this guy totally breaks that stereotype and shows a totally diffrent thing the SG can do. Great vid BTW!

  • right on, sister rosetta tharpe had one as well as zappa...both completely valid sg musicians! I love stereotypes getting broken like that

  • Come On wheres the AC/DC :)

  • omfg that a 10,000 doller gutair dude!!!

  • great guitar and playing. sounds amazing

  • im not into this kinda stuff but its got a nice ring to it- defiately not hard rock/metal but hehe you got me bobbin my head (as opposed to headbanging)

  • sick..........a little trey like??

  • wow, nice playing!. Love the jazzy licks...boy,thats funky.

  • No, it's '61 Reissue V.O.S. if I'm correct.

  • it says in the info its a 64'?

  • It's not garbage you dickhead, you just little heavy man who don't understand music like this.. Go away.

  • It´s no garbage,just a river of debris

  • Wow. An SG from 1964 in THAT good of condition? It looks like a new SG Custom! The finish seems perfectly preserved, and the Lyre Vibrola..... magnificent.

  • hey, im thinking about getting an sg with the tremolo arm like the one u've got here. ive heard about problems with it staying in tune. have u had much problems with yours?

  • Pretty much any guitar with a trem will have tuning issues because the basic idea behind it is stretching and loosening the guitar's strings. I've played a few guitars with tremolos and I can tell you it isn't much of an issue, you just need to stop and tune up every once in a while. If you're still worried, you can get a guitar with a fixed bridge and learn how to low bend / finger trem, where you bend the string up and down to get the same effect.

    Happy playing!

  • does gibson make any sg's besides the angus signature with tremelo arms anymore

  • Check out the V.O.S. SG Standards/Customs, they both have options for Maestro trems.

  • I just purchased a really nice vintage mahogany les paul studio...great humbuckers...nice guitar...tone is exceptional...

  • lets hear more!

  • very nice. i was wondering, how do you feel about the maestro piece? ive heard mixed reviews about it.

  • I like the maestro!!

  • i do too, it looks great. i hear it makes it go out of tune fast

  • SG's rule the earth..!

  • Sounds great! Soo much better than that shredding crap you see all over youtube

  • amen brother...that shit ain't music!

  • reminds me of Mr Les Paul, smooth stuff

  • Want to sell the SG? Anything original too it? Most have changed parts by now, still nice enough to play out with. Has a decnt tone. Sounded a little flat (frets) for a few seconds here and there. I have drawers full of old parts from 61-65 SG Les Pauls. We yanked off everything from them in the 70s and 80s. Peace

  • wow, the boss sure can play! Nice work Larry!
