NO SHIT PEOPLE, IT IS RIGGED. There's no such thing as reading minds, especially when they're not in the same room as you. Therefore, this guy has to be pretty smart to figure out a system that works WITHOUT FAIL. Every complaint I'VE seen in the comments, I've tried for myself, and it was an error on the part of the viewer; I got the 4 diamonds every time.

Also @Albion105 You restated what 11ish10 just said with different words. 99-18 is mathematically equivalent to 99-9-9. You're both right.

People seem to be easily confused. Perhaps you should ask them to pick a 2-digit number, and then subtract the digits from this number BEFORE you show them the screen with all the symbols. Also, slow down the video a bit, to give people a good chance to read carefully. A lot of them seem to have missed your example of 63 - 6 - 3 = 54, or your instruction to pick a 2-digit number between 10 and 99 (the 0's before then 1-digit numbers don't help). Good trick though, better than most.

OK people, here's how it works.

Lets say you have a number with first digit a and second digit b. Then the numeric value of your number is 10a+b. Now you subtract each digit (a and b) from 10a+b. This gives you: 10a+b - a - b = 9a. So you ALWAYS end up with a factor of 9, and each factor of 9 has the same symbol!

Ok I figured you out 11Ish10, your clever but not clever enough! You used a simple trick that I learned when I was young. You forget that this trick is used by everyone! I knew the answer as soon as read the directions. I bet that I could "read your mind" from this post! Think of a three digit number where all the digits are the same (111, 222 etc.) add the three digits together and divide the three digit number by the two digit number you got. You got 37! Don't beleve me? Use a calculator! :P

It's easy... if you subtract the second digit you will be left with a number with a 0 at the end (ex. 56-6=50) then they put that symbol after every number you get when you subtract the first digit of a number like 40,50,60 etc. from itself. Ex. 45(50-5), 36 (40-4), 54 (60-6)

All Im saying is that those don't work because I picked two digit numbers ( like 0 and 1, which was 01) and those didn't work. Im not trying to be a jack ass Im just saying it isn't exactly right. This trick doesn't completely work because you forgot the fact that anyone who picks 1 through 9 will end up with zero. For example, 01-0-1=0. There is no symbol for zero so this mind reader doesn't completely work.

Because there are actually an infinite number of zeros in front of it. Even if you DID try to use those, there is no "00" to land on, which makes it invalid right there. You did not follow directions and it does not count. You either simply like to not follow directions while trying to be clever about it or you really don't know how to follow directions.

i see how it works. they are all on multiples of 9. any 2 digit number would have its last number be 0 after you subtract it. all you are left with is 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 and 90. you subtract the first number and they are all multiples of 9. you see, any number times 10 is that number added to itself 10 times. when you subtract the original number from itself times 10 (i'll call it 10x) you get 10x-x=9x.

Here's how it works. There are only a few numbers that can be outputed from adding digits and subtracting like that. All he does is put the symbol on all of those numbers. For example 9 and 12 will have the same symbol.
