  • That's the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard. Illegal? I guess that is why the UN resolved to invade Iraq. I guess that is why the UN pledged troops to Iraq. I guess that is why most nations sent troops to Iraq with America.

Illegal? In the same way that some liberal scum think stopping Argentina was "illegal"- however most rational men know that Iraq needed to be liberated DIRECTLY. Nick Clegg won't get my vote next election.

    What a sell-sword, him and Cam-moron.

  • @Grawpify You're misunderstanding why it was illegal. It was illegal because facts were distorted and omitted by the pro-war folk.

  • Why is George Osbourne so smug? He voted for it too.

  • Look at George Osbornes face when Clegg sat down......

Osborne voted for the Iraq war didn't he....?

  • lol at hague and osbourne's faces -

  • nick clegg would go well with bill clinton,

Both of them have trouble keeping their cocks in their trousers.haha.

  • Whats the big deal? Its been done now. Whats the point of questioning the legality.? The falklands war.?..Was that legal.? More to the point why noy question every war that has been fought and question the legality of them. Even if the iraq war is found to be illegal. What will happen.? Who will be charged.? Would anybody be sentenced.? I think not. What a pathetic debate from a pathetic government. There are more important issues to be faced than this pointless crap.!
  • @MrArnold1972 The Tories have no right to criticize Labour's foreign policy. They all voted for the invasion of Iraq and the falklands war was a disgrace.

  • @ToaJoe They were wars that needed fighting you stupid bastard.

  • @MrArnold1972 Iraq wasn't. Afghanistan, I can understand that war. But Blair (who I admire) really wanted to take us to war to strengthen US/UK relations. Being a fantastic actor, he lied to everyone. I'm one of the few who forgive him for that.

  • @ToaJoe Iraq was.

And please explain why afghanistan needs to be fought./

If you think it makes the west a safer place then think again.

Terrorists are everywhere not just in afghanistan.

  • @MrArnold1972

Why? It is a war of greed which has led to the destruction of a country, our seizing of resources and over 1 million deaths.

  • I may not like clegg for the cuts, but at least he has the balls to tell it like it is when it comes to iraq

  • all good and well him saying this but not when the two men sitting behind him to his left voted very strongly for the war in Iraq. he is the representative of a coalition government and what ever he says at the despatch box is representative of the view of the entire coalition. ever more proof that the coalition is divided.

  • Well done Clegg. Finally someone who's got the balls to say the truth.

  • Yeah, this was bullshit. Something was said before this took place. Look at Osborne mouthing the same words Nick says. It's all a theatrical performance, nothing more.

  • illegal war of course it was

  • Join 'Stop Blair form Cashing in on War' on Facebook for the complete dossier on the war criminal.

  • the first who say the truth must be hunged ... french proverb ... !

Go Clegg : show in the English-speaking how much they were deceived by war in Iraq ! This war is illegal but more important ...

    this war it's 1 millions iraqis deads ! A war crim !

Bush administration, blair administration : War criminals ... !

  • wonderful. he is so right.

  • Hahaha!

  • well done Nick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bravo, Clegg!!!
