  • i am extremly impressed, wow u obviously know what u r doing, love the civic comment, u are very right on building to last, everyone wonders why their car r allways in the shop, build to last, build with quality, do your car right and it will do u right, you actually will even save money in the long run, mad props, what do u have that in or any plans? great job again

  • I'm not to sure fella's But I got think out loud here ok Thats an awfull disgusting amount of cash for what did you make ? 650 HP ? My 421 inch mouse with ONE CARB makes 640 and all for just a tad over $ 4700.00 !! would that even buy the blower and carb setup ?

  • @TheRoguelement What?@!??

A Honda Civic can run 10 sec 1/4 mile and beat out a Porsche!!! The issue comes in as to how long it will last and how well it runs.

The motor was last Dyno'd at 800hp at only 5510rpms. Can your motor do that for even $10,000? This motor can be spooled up to 1000hp without issue.

Anyone can build a sbc to turn 640 hp with high stress, high compression and cheap parts. This motor was built to "LAST" and look good. Build your 640 mouse and hope it holds. Funny!

  • hi great job,, is it really running stock mechanical pump?

  • What brand of supercharger is this weiand?? or no

  • It's okay. Not that much power for a twin screw and alky, though.

  • @brapboys503 ...what R U Smokin....92 octane PUMP GAS...... 650 is plenty with ONLY 8 Pounds Of Boost......... where did you go to school?

  • can i have it plase???

  • Very nice! I can't belive it still running a mechanical fuel pump, i'd figure it couldn't keep up???

  • what supercharger you running?

  • @maverick5792003 its by Weiand and it looks like an 6-71...

  • an someone please tell me i just bought a 1971 impala with a chevy 350 in it am looking to buy a blower kit complete to put on i have about 3k and if i buy a complete kit will i need to mees with my engine at all on just put it on??will i need to put new pistons in ect ect thank you

  • @pwall97 If its a street build u could get buy with just some forged dished , blower cam and a set of pink rods The most important thing is compression ration which is effected by your drive pullys. If you get 2 wild things start braking N 2 like the crank.

  • GRAB THE BELT!!!!!!!

  • good dyno run ,nice job. i have a jet boat with a 671 9lbs boost on pump fuel . i was wondering what cam your running ??

  • thers a lot of hype about four bolts mains in the gear head industry but remeber this that is hype on a sbc i know of a lot of people and a many engines i have assembled with power in mind never busted a main cap its been a rod threw the block or a valve and these guys right here in this vid have it right utilizing the best of cranks and rods and pistons available without going strictly race only parts where your tearing the engine down after several races or in top fuel after almost every race

  • 4 bolt mains are the stronger 350. you can build allot of power with a 4 bolt 350 but im not sure of the limit

  • RUN HIGHER BOOST. we had a stock 305 witha semi race cam and 2.02 heads stock pistons and entire bottom end with a weiand 142 and ran it at 14lbs boost nance.

  • im 16 and still learning about engine building, i am more of a body man. on a stock 350 how much power would the stock crank, connecting rods, and pistons be able to handle?

  • can do 500 if u r not racing alot,n keeping rpms down.pistons n rod bolts r the place to start .

  • what about a 350 with 4 bolt mains?

  • ive heard stock bottem end chevy's run to 6300rpm before they break or bend. thats with under 360hp. i run 330hp to 6000rpm on a stock bottom end with no problems. its a 4 bolt main. but i wouldnt run more then 450hp on stock bottom end 4 bolt main. even gm's "pink rods" bend.

  • what about it

  • Yea somewheres around 500 or so and 6,000rpm and under. Shot peening the rods and cyro treatment could make them quite a bit more durable, however, at that point I would just get some new parts.

  • lol 2.02 valves on a 305 I highly doubt that, the cylinder bore on a 305 is too small for that size valve, anything over a 1.94 and you start having serious valve shrouding issues.

  • LOL Iam doing right now. stock bore 305 with 2.02 valves heads

  • 2.02 valves have to have atleast a 4 inch bore or they will clip the cylinder. i bet you wont say lol after that
