  • Dude thats a killer tune Great solo

  • Miss Peggy and Miss Ellie were babes!

  • Ms. Bee, I'm declaring for you. LOL

  • Oh My Gosh! This is so weird! But I still luv this show!

  • @courtneyskye11 Geez, thanks, I thought I was the only one...

  • LOL!!!!

  • rflmao that was great! thanks!

  • Sorry to disagree, but you are all wrong about who Andy should have married. It should have been Charlene Darling. She was, and still is, cute as a bug. She could sing great, and think of how cute all the espisodes would have been with the " in-laws ". Heh.

  • Nha,com'on Charlene...dont be to jealous;O)

  • @Rikki0 Im down with that too Charleen was hot and she oved Andy But Ellie Walker was hot too

  • What the hell does "The Andy Griffith Show Of Women" mean?

  • I don't know what the second best tv show of all-time is, but I do know it's a long way behind Andy Griffith.

  • BEST show ever made!!! EVER!!

  • Simpy put--very well put.

My favorite show of all time.

  • Ellie was the best, I wish she hadn't left. Why did he have to marry Helen? She was only tolerable in the B&W episodes, and she got worse and worse.

  • knyghten59, I agree with you. I never got into Helen much. But Ellie was definitely cute and had way more personality!

  • Heck yes! I loved Ellie the lady druggist! Helen was HORRIBLE with her gossiping and short fused tempers. Helen Crump stinks!

  • DITTO!

  • Also rememberingtomorrow...

a good cast is essential to its survival. It lasted several seasons, the women WERE important to the show beacause through constant exposure they became endearing characters. But so did the men.

Floyd, Goober, BARNEY especially Barney carried the show for years and when he left the ratings went down big time. Thats why they asked him back with visits to Mayberry. So please dont tell me what Im suggesting.

  • Folks, Can't we just agree that the show rules? The song is about how a man could love a woman as much as he loves his favorite television show to which he is fiercely loyal.

  • The Andy Griffith Show Was About The Men...

The Women Were Merely Side Characters

Helen Crump, Thelma Lou, Aunt Bea

When They Ran Out Of Ideas, They Used The Side Characters

  • Did you read the "About this Video" thing? it says that the best compliment you can give a woman is to compare her to the Andy Griffith Show. Not what you're suggesting.

  • In an INTERVIEW with Griffith he states pretty much the show was basically about him, And His son Opie living in a small town. Gomer, Ellie, his first girl were used the first three seasons, and really didnt last. but still the story line REVOLVED around Andy and how he interacted with his SUPPORTING actors. He wasnt being egotistical, just stating truth. The name of the show was the Andy Griffith show, not the Andy, Aunt Bea, And Helen Crump Show. Get Real.

  • HELL YES!

  • Dave, I didn't know you were on Andy Griffith.

  • What a lovely song. This truely is a tribute to the women of Mayberry. The actresses always showen not only their outer beauty but the inner beauty of the female persona as well.

  • Congrats! That was HILARIOUS! You could enter it into a comedy contest.

    That "a ree-a-li-tee show" kills!!

  • that was sweet! lOVE THE SONG !!

  • Fantastic!
