I love how all you "experts" are telling him to keep his head up. DUH!!! Anybody who plays hockey knows that. When you are trying to control a crappy pass (which he was) you sometimes have to look down to see where the heck it went. He wasnt lugging the puck up ice with his head down. BTW didnt Campbell have his head down when he shot the puck out of play and gave the Canes the winning PP in game 7? lol

Doesn't matter if your feet leave the ice when you hit as long as you aren't jumping into the player. Campbell didn't leave his feet until after he made contact. If that was illegal, you'd have to penalize Umberger too because he hit Campbell at the same speed and his feet left the ice as well.

Okay, half of the people in these comments are stupid beyond reason. 1. Hockey is about hitting. 2. It was not "headhunting"; you have your head down, you get railed. That's what HAPPENS in hockey. 3. It was a perfectly clean hit. 4. When your team knocks someone the fuck out, and it's a GOOD hit, you don't wince and keep silent. You go crazy. This sport isn't about feeling bad for the other team when something quite normal and expected happens to them.

I think it's funny that these Cryers fans are talking about having class. Look at your team. A player who used to be one of the most disiplined players in the NHL, Peter Forsberg, went after Briere and checked him into the boards in a very cheap shot, which he got a penalty for by the way. It just shows what putting on a Flyers jersey does to even the most disiplined players. And if you didn't have Forsberg, you wouldnt have even made it to the playoffs.

I know for a fact that if that happened in Phily they wouldn't keep on playing it over and over. Plus your guys got the shit knocked out of him during the next series.
