I remember The Wizard of Speed and Time being shown on TV around 40+/- years ago - pre computer animation. I think it might have been shown on Disney. I also remember the Gulf oil commercial, also stop motion, with the people scooting along the road without cars. X
Every time I watch this, which is probably more often than is healthy, I can't help but think of how absurdly complicated and time consuming it must have been.
This film is pure awesome and it's a shame that it never got the official DVD treatment. Also, at 1:24 when the Wizard swirls around, Mike Jittlov's last name is spelled out in the light. The "V" is probably the most obvious letter to spot.
