Xbox is better for online gaming, more people online who actually talk (my experience with the ps3 was that nobody ever said anything, kind of boring compared to xbl) and just as many if not more good games. The only reason im considering geting a ps3 again is that its a blu-ray player. The other thing about ps3 i dont like is the controller, it doesnt feel as natural as an xbox controller, like you have to make your left thumb stay there, whereas it sits nicely on an xbox.

@RocketNothing I own both consoles, and I must say that you should never buy shooters for ps3. Shooters are for Xbox cuz the servers run more smoothly. Ps3 is pretty much everything else(GT5,Fighting games, etc). The blue ray is ok, good for storing more info on the discs and watching movies.

@RocketNothing often times, you don't pay nearly as much as 80 dollars. Every time a new exclusive game comes out for xbox, there are deals for buying online access for a year. I got my last one when Halo Reach came out, got 1 year service for 30 bucks. Well it also depends of what types of games you're interested in. Xbox is definitely a more shooter game type of console. Xbox is better for online gaming, more people online who actually talk (my experience with the ps3 was that nobody ever said anything, kind of boring compared to xbl) and just as many if not more good games. The only reason im considering geting a ps3 again is that its a blu-ray player. The other thing about ps3 i dont like is the controller, it doesnt feel as natural as an xbox controller, like you have to make your left thumb stay there, whereas it sits nicely on an xbox.

@zema109000 Got a deal on my live subscription with a headset & PGR4, to be honest the game was only thing worth getting with the purchase. My bros house are all shooter gamers and there are 2 xboxs and 2 PS3s there, went to check it out this weekend and sure enough the Xboxs are unplugged and gathering dust. Set them up side by side on 1080p's (both with modern warfare 2) and yeah I see why; PS3 has superior colours, foregrounds & less loading time, even the xbox owners agree they prefer PS3

I currently own a 250gb XBox 360 and am a little disappointed, Forza 3 is a bit pony and the online community are a bunch of whining bitches. I'm thinking of trading it in for a PS3, has anyone else done this or owned both consoles? I'd like to hear some views of the PS3.

@RocketNothing I own both consoles, and I must say that you should never buy shooters for ps3. Shooters are for Xbox cuz the servers run more smoothly. Ps3 is pretty much everything else(GT5,Fighting games, etc). The blue ray is ok, good for storing more info on the discs and watching movies.

@RocketNothing often times, you don't pay nearly as much as 80 dollars. Every time a new exclusive game comes out for xbox, there are deals for buying online access for a year. I got my last one when Halo Reach came out, got 1 year service for 30 bucks. Well it also depends of what types of games you're interested in. Xbox is definitely a more shooter game type of console. The controller is perfect for anyone's hands. It is balanced and is nicely put together overall. Downside is

@RocketNothing you have to pay for the batteries. Ps3 controller is alright, but it's not set up for shooters. It's a more generalized controller, set up for many types of games. It is VERY light and best of all, rechargeable(you can get a rechargeable pack for xbox as well, but it's extra). Either way, I hope this helped you make your choice. If you decide to get a ps3/ keep your xbox, add me online and maybe we can play something together.

Ps3 looks very ugly. Specially when its placed vertically. Its just impossible to make it like that. The controls are the same as ps1. Which is stupid cuz doesnt this supposed to be new or something. The ps button looks like a mole on the remote. Its not placed The reason most people buy a ps3 is just for blue ray since bluray players are expensive. Ps3 has the same menu as Psp.
