Hmmm, no predictions? According to the BBC there has been a pretty substantial surge in voter registration over the last couple of days, so yey.

Of course in Australia voting is compulsory, which certainly has it's pros and cons.

@Autobrots I didn't want to start suggesting statistics, like I said, voting should be a really carefully made decision so, basically, don't listen to me, get your hands on lots of different sources and make up your own mind :)

And compulsory voting sounds like an interesting idea.

Yes, it's good to hear somebody giving people the sound advice of actually researching policy instead of just telling them to vote for party X. Kudos.
