Thank you so much for a good tutorial on your beautiful gift basket! I will make one soon for my sister and I got some good ideas thanks to you. God bless you.
Nice video I appreciate the patience and time in showing how to properly secure a gift basket. It truly shows the love and time that you put into the gift.
I have been looking for a video to show me exactly how to create a gift basket. Kudos.
One more thing... do you mind critiquing a basket I made for my nieces sweet 16 birthday? When I make baskets I am too critical of myself. I can email you a pic for your opinion and tips on improving my designs.
That was great!I've taken a few gift basket making classes at a local community college and I"m always looking for tips and tutorials to enhance my skills. I'm trying to start a small homebased business that I can do part time. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to market and all of the other details such as business licensing etc. Also how has your business been since we are in such difficult economic times?
Nice tutorial. Not as hard as you make it look though. Maybe because I've made plenty of baskets before. Thanks for sharing. I will visit you website for baskets & gifts. Do you buy your products wholesale?
Thanks for your comment. yes, I do buy most products wholesale. Other are from my own company, like the Baby Bonding Audiobook and some of the organic lotions and bath for moms.
oh and i'm also making a diaper cake. the theme of the shower is 'bollywood' which is the indian version of hollywood. so thinking of using sari trim around the cake layers in place of the ribbon. wish me luck!!
hey there, i watched and listened to all 3 parts but u don't mention how u secured the plush rattle or the burp cloths? overall, a wonderful tutorial, i'm gonna give it a try sometime this week...gotta baby shower to go to and would LOVE to give something handmade by me. do u have any tips how i can secure baby blankets in the basket?
Wow, thanks for watching all 3 parts in full! The plush rattle is from Emily Toys, which I bought a quantity of wholesale in LA years ago. The burp cloth is from Bebe Au Lait (who has matching nursing covers as well). I would keep the baby blanket folded and in the original packaging if there is one (or tie a big ribbon around it) and place it where I've placed the nursing shawl or the burp cloth (although you'll need more room for it.) Good luck and let me know how it goes!
thanks for the info! i will try wrapping a nice ribbon/bow on the blankets. can't use packaging for it becus i made it myself. also did u secure these items to the basket with glue dots or with the plant sticks?
I'm doing this for my friend Chrissy who's baby is due anytime soon....she will love this!..x

Instead of using a brick at the bottom which is expensive, use some packing peanuts and newsprint. Flowers still stick in but much cheaper......

Pretty basket...but no soft toys for babies. Suffocation hazard.
