whether it works or not, those dancers had wonderful arches before ever using it. so don't count on getting feet just like them if you buy it.

@jyggyhobyt EXACTLY. im sick of dancers thinking that their is anything other than their own genetics that can make their feet look like this.  you cannot change the bone structure of your feet. you just cant. you can make stronger arches, but you cannot make them arch more. so stop buying the snake oil people. if you dont have prominent arches, deal with it. its not a requirement for primas anyway. just look at kathryn morgan.

@ILoveFriedFetus actually your very wrong ever seen someone with foot drop from being bed ridden ? you can change the shape of your foot there are 33 joints in the human foot 18 muscles and 26 bones I love how uneducated people like to make broad generalized statements without research or any experience what so ever.

@ILoveFriedFetus not to mention chinese foot binding ,you can shape your arch to be more pronounced by stretching the tendons in the top of your foot and strengthening the muscles in the arch .Most dancers feet got that way from years of training they weren't born like that . the younger you start the more change you can make.

@esmeralda1211 Tried it for a year when I was 19. Stretched whenever I can when I watch tv, movies, reading etc. I don't see a huge difference.

Definitely not for beginners... You can get easily injured from forcing extension.

FYI Folks - you can 'stretch ' feet 'til hell freezes over but if you are born with low insteps it will make almost no difference. Years ago some dancers had their feet broken & reset with higher insteps - instant mega-arch. It was also fashionable to have hips broken then reset with what looked like mega-turnout. Needless to say very loose hips with huge loss of strength! The dancers in the vid are naturally-endowed pros. Develop foot with proper exercise & see a specialist ballet physio!

instead of this product i would recommend the of a theraband or a flexiband which can be bought from sports shops to improve the arch of your foot, a much more inexpensive way and painless way to improve the arch of your foot :)

@Sarinhah021 I've recently bought one and i can say the stretch is amazing... it feels very deep and is one of the best methods of stretching the feet that i have used. People who say it going to cause injury might be right if its not used correctly - any type of deep stretch needs to be accompanied by a strengthening routine. If you work correctly there is no reason why it should cause any more injury than point work already does. I will let you know about long term improvements as they develop
