What people don't seem to realize is that when she first found out she was pregnant, she was in love with Jason. She lied not only to protect Lucky but also to protect Jason because he was with Sam at the time. And she didn't want to rip apart Jason and Sam, she wanted him happy, even if it meant he wasn't with her.

I want to say that is what I saw when she lied about Jake in the beginning. Liz love both Lucky and Jason at the same time but in different ways. I just hope Jason and Liz will get a chance to be a family because they deserve it after everything they have been through together.

I have watched the very ending of this scene over and over. When Jason tells Elizabeth why he had to tell Lucky about Jake, I wanted to crawl in the screen and give him a hug myself. Steve Burton - you are beautiful.

I loved today's episode! All the actors were so good in this scene. I loved how Steve Burton today. Even though I'm a huge Liason fan, I had to love Sam at the very end when she told Elizabeth that she was to blame for the lie.

Loved the way Jason just brushed Spam off of him!!! After all the boo-hoo from her about Liz and Jason lying, everyone comes clear EXCEPT her!! Elizabeth admitted in front of everyone and to Jason what she did was wrong and she's extremely sorry for it! I have YET to hear Spam admit to her wrong doings!! This was a great episode! Steve Burton was awesome. I am a huge Liason fan, but even I loved Sam today when she told Liz off for her continuing to lie about Jake's paternity. I had to favorite this. It was just too good.

I think that Liz lied to protect Jake.  Last fall, she was ready to tell Jason the truth, but he thought the baby was Lucky's. He said that was for the best, so she thought he didn't want the baby to be his. That is why she let him believe the baby was Lucky's.
